How does a Vendor cancel their free membership and just remain as a customer?

      How does a Vendor cancel their free membership and just remain as a customer?

      When a Vendor with a free membership goes to their membership settings there is no way to cancel their FREE membership and just be a customer account. This is for someone that wants to close up their shop but still remain a customer.

      I did not see anything in the documentation for this.
