GuestBasically, Stripe Connect is able to connect to Vender Stripe account from WC Vendor Dashboard (WCFM) but it doesn’t link the account fully so commission can be paid out. More in depth write up below…
We were using WCMp for the vendor dashboard. But decided to upgrade to WCFM and the WC Vendor Dashboard…since it’s much better looking, better UI, etc.
However, when a vendor attempts to link Stripe Connect from their WC Vendor Dashboard, they see the account is connected (and the button to disconnect). But it looks like it’s not actually activated properly on WCMp to allow for commission to be paid out. We have to manually go into https://effortlessdelivery.com/wcmp/vendor-billing/ (after we already activated on WC Vendor Dashboard) and click the Stripe Connect again for commission payout to work (change from ‘Unpaid’ status to ‘Paid’).
Use Case:
1. Vendor signs up and logs in
2. Vendor initiates/approves Stripe Connect with their Stripe account on WC Vendor Dash (WCFM)
3. Vendor sees the WC Vendor Dashboard update and Stripe Connect shows connected
4. Customer purchases Vendor item and payment is processed
5. Vendor marks order ‘Shipped’ and ‘Complete’
6. **Admin attempts to payout commission but is unable to pay vendor commission until it’s activated on https://effortlessdelivery.com/wcmp/vendor-billing/.So why do we have to activate Stripe Connect on both WCMF and WCMp for this to work? Shouldn’t it just work when we activate on WCFM dashboard? There must be a disconnect or a hook not working.

Thanks for get in touch with us.
Really thanks for such detailed information, really appreciated for your cooperation.
But this should no be the case, vendors have to connect only once, either WCFM dashboard or WCMp dashboard.
Actually both are working exactly same, and that’s the reason you found disconnect button on WCMp dashboard when already connected from WCFM dashboard.I am in a doubt with two screenshots –

Please confirm me two things –
1. You have first connected Stripe for this vendor from WCFM dashboard?
Then checked at WCMp dashboard but it’s showing no payment method selected (https://www.evernote.com/shard/s488/sh/47e6557d-fba0-4204-914d-113f3275bda7/062cca855b9452f7)
2. After connecting with Stripe for the vendor do you click on “Save” (https://www.evernote.com/shard/s488/sh/3dcbdddd-c2df-4a7b-80de-587eab6a2ef7/1ca2ffe7f7c0711f)?I think you missed that and it creates the whole issue. Stripe gets connected but Payment method for the vendor not saved, so payment not payout!!
If you can’t remember this then why not repeat the same for another vendor account!!Please correct me, if I am wrong at any point.

I believe the issue started (as you stated above) by not clicking ‘Save’ at the bottom of WCFM dashboard after Stripe Connect shows. Additionally, we had the slug on Stripe Connect pushing to the WCMp dashboard (wcmp/vendor-billing/). We changed Stripe connect slug to /wcfm/wcfm-settings. So that may have been causing the issue as well.
