Hi,
I have installed WCFM Ultimate, Membership and Groups & Staff. I also have WC Vendors installed on my site.
I would like to ask the following:
1. Isn’t there a way for the vendors to request payments and withdraws?
2. Isn’t there a section where shop manager or admin view the products that are pending for approval from vendors?Thank you

Hi,
in addition to my above queries:
3. Is there a way for the admin to create and send pdf invoices to the vendors?
Thanks again

Hi,
1. Isn’t there a way for the vendors to request payments and withdraws?
– Request withdrawal method only available for WC Marketplace and Dokan. WC Vendors does not support that.2. Isn’t there a section where shop manager or admin view the products that are pending for approval from vendors?
– Yeah sure, Admin get notification whenever a product submit for approval. And product dashboard is there to check. Even now you have product quick approve action icon in product dashboard.3. Is there a way for the admin to create and send pdf invoices to the vendors?
– NO, there is no such options. Vendor order PDF invoice automatically generatedThank You

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
I assune that i can only have one of the 3 plugins(WC Vendors, Dokan, WC Marketplace) installed right? Or can they be combined?
Also what is the procedure for seeing the plugin’s features in the WCFM dashboard?
For instance let’s say that i installed dokan? Will i automatically see the Payments and Listing section in the vendors dashboard? Or any actions are required by admin?
Thanks

Hi,
Yeah, you can have any one multi-vendor to plugin your site.
NO, you don’t have to do anything. You will automatically have additional modules visible.
As you mentioned Dokan, so just to mention, Dokan Lite comes with very minimal features and then you will see again many things are missing as those are comes only for Dokan Pro. If you are planing to change multi-vendor then go for WC Marketplace as it’s all features are coming under FREE version.
Thank You

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
So i just need to remove WC Vendors and install WP Marketplace free?
By the way doesn’t WC Marketplace has its own front end? If so what’s the point of halving WCFM?
Sorry for the questions. I am just trying to figure out what’s the difference between all those plugins (WCFM, dokan, WC Marketplace, WC Vendors etc)
Thanks again

Hi,
You have asked the very essential question in fact.
You are right, WC Marketplace has a front-end dashboard, and even all these ad-ons has their own front-end dashboard.
Then why WCfM?
There has two major aspects –
1. Features
2. CostWCfM cheaper than those solutions but 100 miles ahead in terms of features and flexibility.
Not prefer to go for cost comparison.
This will give you an idea regarding feature differences – https://wclovers.com/blog/woocommerce-frontend-manager/

Hi,
Many thanks for your information.
Things are clear now.
Four more question if i might:
1. When i used WC Vendors, a checkbox named “Apply to become a vendor” appeared in the registration form of my website.
Is there anything similar with WP Marketplace or WFCM?
2. Is it better to used the registration form of WP Marketplace or WFCM?
3. Except the “Payment” section, what more does the free addition of WP Marketplace has to offer in compare to other free?
4. I also have WooCommerce PDF Vouchers & Woocommerce Bookings installed. Vendors can currently set only simple products as downloadble/voucherable. what about variable and bookable products? Why can’t i set them as voucherable?
Thanks a lot

HI,
1. When i used WC Vendors, a checkbox named “Apply to become a vendor” appeared in the registration form of my website.

– WC Marketplace has it’s own vendor registration form, you are allowed to setup this with your own fields. WCfM has no registration but WCfM Membership has registration form.
2. Is it better to used the registration form of WP Marketplace or WFCM?
– WCfM has no registration
3. Except the “Payment” section, what more does the free addition of WP Marketplace has to offer in compare to other free?
– Vendor store is better. Stripe connect is also free. Table rate shipping add-on is free as well. Most importantly, flexible commission setup.
4. I also have WooCommerce PDF Vouchers & Woocommerce Bookings installed. Vendors can currently set only simple products as downloadble/voucherable. what about variable and bookable products? Why can’t i set them as voucherable?
– As I already mentioned you in other two threads, our team is working on this.
Thank You
