Would you consider adding Brands as a core capability of WCFM? Right now we have to use plugins to add a brand to our products and cannot import this information during bulk product upload without purchasing another premium plugin.
When I purchased this ultimate plan I thought brands were a basic part of adding products.
I use the PWB (Perfect WooCommerce Brands) plugin that you all recommended. Would you be able to tell me how I can map brands during bulk product upload?
Thank you!

everjoy.shop – Do you think this is a core function that all marketplaces would want to use?
Personally I think the “core” functions that WC Lovers need to focus on should be functions that would be applicable to all kinds of marketplaces. And then add in premium integrations/plugins to take that base functionality to a marketplace stream that you want.
For example if the marketplace was selling services only – would the brand integration you are suggesting be applicable?

Good question, Craig!
So many marketplaces are product based so this would be extremely helpful. Some marketplaces specialize in custom goods (like Etsy) or services (like Freelancer) and do not need brands but many more marketplaces sell clothing, home goods, technology, furniture, etc. that have brands attached to them.
I would be more likely to agree with your point if WCFM easily enabled those who so sell brand specific products to upload that information via the bulk import, but this is not the case. While WCFM is fully compatible with WooCommerce Booking and Woo Appointments, which is great if you have a service-based business, but there are these options for those who sell products.

I hear ya…but can you confirm.
Are you looking for a better integration with “Perfect WooCommerce Brands” plugin or that the “Perfect WooCommerce Brands” be a core capability.

Well, there has many WooCommerce Brand plugins like this – https://wordpress.org/plugins/perfect-woocommerce-brands/
You may use any of these for the purpose.
Thank You

I have Perfect WooCommerce Brands. The problem is that when I use the bulk product importer to import data via CSV, the brands do not import. How can I have the brand information import?

Well, WooCommerce Importer does not support custom taxonomies.
