Change fileds in Excel download of orders

Sorry for asking questions I can’t see how to search the forum.

The Excel download doesn’t include the quantity or product details, and the gross amount and payment type are in the same column which means they can’t use formulas on the column [as it has number and text in it]

How can I change the content of the download?

Yes I have Ultimate – not sure what you mean by order notes? I am asking about the download Excel columns.

So you are saying the columns that download are what is visible on the dashboard page?

OK so I have added the columns to be visible in the dashboard and now they are downloading, thank you.

As you can see there is still additional text in some columns – ‘1 Item’ in the purchased column and ‘Via Credit card (Square)’ in the Gross Sales column, which means we can’t calculate that column because there are words in it. Can this be modified?

Thanks for removing the text from the Gross amount column. For the download to be useful though it needs to keep the information in seperate columns rather than merge the data.

For example it merges into ‘1 item1xProduct name’ rather than having a column for number of items purchased with just the number in it – that would mean we can sum and calculate volumes sold without having to do a lot of clean up work of the downloaded file.

See screenshots – Download_columns is how it currently looks, Functional_columns is how we need it

Thanks – that now downloads unmerged columns except for the Purchased column which is still merging? See screenshot.

Is there not a way to select which unmerged columns to download?

Hi,

Yeah right, we can’t change “Purchased” column on export so that we have added separate columns “Quantity”, “Gross Sales Amount” for export.
