Coupons Vendor Vs Admin

I would like to understand Coupons better.

If set a coupon as Admin, this is site-wide, if a vendor sets a coupon its only for the vendor. This is good.

However if i set a coupon as admin, i would like the full amount of commission to go to the vendor (admin pays for coupon discount)

But if the vendor sets a coupon I would like the vendor to pay for the coupon discount

is this possible? if so I don’t know how to configure the settings

But this works for all discounts, not consider whether it’s Admin coupon or Vendor coupon.

Well, there is a sort out of this,

As Admin you always create “cart discount” coupon.

And Vendor coupons are by default product coupon.

Is there any way to achieve the consideration whether it’s Admin coupon or Vendor coupon and pay commission accordingly? I need to have this feature on my site too.

Hence all coupons will be considered before commission calculation!

Hi,

I want to add me to the request, because it’s true.

It’s not the same if vendor made a coupon or admin.

Admin need to made coupons like black friday, but it needs not to affect the vendor.

I made test with your advice about commission setting and we have diferent result, but bad for vendor when coupons come from admin.

Normal Example: (80% commission to vendor)
Product: $ 15000
Shipping: $ 3800
Total: $ 18800

Withdrawal to request: 15800

Coupon example: (15% coupon from admin)(80% commission to vendor)
Product: $ 15000
Shipping: $ 3800
Coupon Discount: – $ 2250
Total: $ 16550

Withdrawal to request: 14000

You can see that we will need different setting to make the same result for vendor.
For simple sells we can use your setting (commission after discount), but for admin coupon whe need to change to commission before discount.
