Customize Packing Slip

Hi,

i did create my own template for packing slip (where i did add a few custom fields). But the template is only used when creating pdf via admin backend, if created by vendor via vendor dashboard a different template is used. Can you tell me where to edit your template file so i can add my fields to vendor packing slip, too?

Hi,

WCFM use a separate template for all such purposes as those required multi-vendor support.

Well, you have to override this template for the purpose -> “wc-frontend-manager-ultimate\views\vendor_invoice\packing-slip.php” under your child theme/wcfm/vendor_invoice\”

Hi,

Those will not work here.

Placeholder requires replacement, but that is not written for packing-slip.

For this you have to edit core files.

Or, use store invoice as packing slip also.

Okay many thanks, thats a great idea, but how do i use store invoice as packing slip also?

Hi,

Vendors are allowed to download Store Invoice for their orders from their orders dashboard.

Just instruct them to use that for Packing Slip as well.

And set OFF this capability then there will be no more additional Packing Slip download option -> https://ibb.co/ynDGFS2

Oh okay so but then vendors won’t be able to download a store invoice anymore, right? I mean the store invoice will be my custom packing slip then and theres no more real invoice.

I suggested you to ->
1. Disable packing Slip Capability -> https://ibb.co/ynDGFS2
2. Ask your vendors to use Store Invoice as packing slip
