      HI,

That’s strange! Why count not matched!

Well, add this line to your child theme’s functions.php and delete those plans –

      add_filter( 'wcfm_is_allow_block_membership_delete', '__return_false' );

      Thank You

Thank you, I was able to remove the membership.

But what about the users counter?
I have only two store vendors
      But in the dashboard 4.

      Thank you!

I see under the “Vendors” tab I can see the list of vendors ( /store-manager/vendors/) but functionality is limited to
      – show sale report
      – disable vendor
      – off-line vendor store

Can you detail your recommendation on how to manage our vendor accounts for the following:

      1. What does the “disable vendor” function do?
      2. What does the “off-line vendor store” function do?
      3. Where can I view vendors list that is grouped based on their membership plan type (Maybe a sorting feature in /store-manager/vendors/ ?)
      4. How we manually delete/suspend/or cancel membership
Does this send the vendor any kind of notification of the change account status?
Does this stop the automatic recurring billing
      5. How can we send the “email verification” if they are showing their account as unverified (the red colored mail envelope) in case vendor have forgotten? (see Screenshot below)

      Hi,

      1. What does the “disable vendor” function do?
      – Vendor access disabled, no more access to Dashboard even. Normally, on membership cancel vendor account diasabaled

      2. What does the “off-line vendor store” function do?
      – Vendor store temporarily down, it’s manual option and only Admin can do this.

      3. Where can I view vendors list that is grouped based on their membership plan type (Maybe a sorting feature in /store-manager/vendors/ ?)
      – We will add this filter at Vendors list page

      4. How we manually delete/suspend/or cancel membership
Does this send the vendor any kind of notification of the change account status?
      – Yeah sure, you may cancel this from Vendor Manager -> Membership Tab

Does this stop the automatic recurring billing – NO

      5. How can we send the “email verification” if they are showing their account as unverified (the red colored mail envelope) in case vendor have forgotten? (see Screenshot below)
      – They have this under WCFM Profile page

      Thank You

Thanks for your answers. They are very helpful.

      Regarding #4
Does this stop the automatic recurring billing – NO

When we do manually cancel a membership what is your recommendation that the marketplace then do to ensure that the billing has also stopped?
Do we need to notify the vendor that they need to go into PayPal and cancel the “automatic payments” profile?

AND if we do that is there a danger that they could cancel a profile linked to a vendors subscription product?

      Hi there,

What is your recommendation on how to stop the automatic billing when a vendor cancels or changes their plan if this is not preformed automatically?

Having 1000’s of vendors a manual process is not practical.
Can your Membership plugin not be enhanced to do this automatically to adjust the recurring payment equal to the vendors membership plan (WooCommerce subscriptions does this automatically so I know it is possible).

      Thanks very much

You can see in this attached screen shot that this manual cancellation process is very troublesome when there are multiple membership accounts set up for a customer that have multiple memberships.

This can happen because a vendor can open up unlimited number of memberships (vendor accounts) if they want to.

When a membership is cancelled through your membership plugin then the recurring payment profile in paypal MUST also be cancelled automatically. This is a critical feature especially with larger marketplaces. A manual tracking/operations is extremely problematic.

At the very least the admin needs to be notified with an email that states:
      – the vendors name
      – vendors account name
      – initial sign-up date,
      – Paypal Profile start date,
      – Paypal Profile ID,
      – payment amount,
      -next payment date,
-etc so that we as administrators can accurately be notified of the change in membership and accurately find their payment profile in our PayPal accounts so that we can cancel the correct one.

Here is a screenshot of the WooCommerce subscriptions payment process and how ti automatically cancels the payment profile when the subscription product is cancelled.

Can your membership plugin also please be enhanced to do automatic cancellation of the PayPal profile that was created with the membership?

Hi there can you confirm that the automatic creation of the PayPal profile that was created with the membership is also cancelled when the membership is cancelled? Has this enhancement been completed in a recent update?

This is so that the recurring payments are automatically canceled at the same time that the membership is cancelled.

      Thanks
      Craig

      Hi Craig

In the update 2.4.5 Updated – 15/05/2019 the change log says that payments are cancelled

I don’t use PayPal, I use Stripe but I can confirm the recurring subscription payments are cancelled when a vendor cancels there plan on the website.

Before this update the stripe subscription payment was not cancelled

This will make a Hugh difference and a very welcome addition to the software

      Hi

I’m not sure if cancelling at the gateway works before cancelling on our website works

If a vendor cancels their membership at our site it also cancelled instantly at stripes gateway 🙂

But if a test vendor cancels there membership at the payment gateway first, there does not appear to be any indication that the membership has been cancelled, is this correct?

If a vendor cancels at the gateway should the membership also not be cancelled on our site too.

      hope this makes sense

      – If vendor cancel recurring profile at payment gateway then next payment will be failed and membership will be automatically canceled.
