Delivery module features

I am looking at purchasing the delivery module for wcfm, but I can’t tell what all this offers. I understand it gives you the features to manage delivery individuals, but what does this look like for customers. Does this give the capability then for vendors to set dates and times that they allow deliveries? Does this show through to customers?

Hello,
Your customers will receive all the notifications about their order delivery updates. But, they can’t update anything from their end. I saw that article, but it doesn’t seem to explain what it looks like to customers. How do they know what delivery days are available? What does it look like when they check out?

Hi,
As I told you before,as of now there is no concept of setting the delivery date. So to answer your query “How do they know what delivery days are available?” – Customers will not know anything about the deliver date at the time of checkout. Yes we have a field under shipping where vendor can choose the processing time but it’s up to the vendor or shipping provider to match that timeline.
So right now, customers will only get the delivery updates, e.g.- the product is assigned to a delivery boy. Take a look here: https://imgur.com/M1ir2kW
