Download products and licensing

Re WP forum – Having a look at the ultimate plugin for downloads.
However we require a licensing option for downloads. (which we already use)
ie: one license X$ more than one at Y or Z price to be available in the frontend product creation and description.

Does not seem that you have this option.

That can be achive easily by creating Veriable-Downloadable product.

Hi again. yes tested that as a fallback (variable is not quite the same as Licensing although we could make use of it in this instance)
however when choosing Download as the option – no variables are available.

_The only option that shows the Download or Virtual product is SIMPLE product
the other options do not show Download or Virtual
Is that an oversight on the demo ?

Yes that is what i was using to assess.
There is no option for Download product as noted above.
Cannot attach a graphic here but if you use your test site, you will see there is no option

Sorry can’t get you exactly.
Did you check that test product and is it meet your requirement?
Please check the Atrributes and Variations tab of that product.

Your requirement can be possible using Variable-Downloadable product, but not just using Simple-Downloadable product.

As I already mention you before, Downloadable and Variable-Downloadable product is part of WCfM Ultimate Version.

Where you want to attach grafics?
You can add Image for separate Variations.

If you test using your own test site that you gave a link to.
There is no option for download products other than “simple”
I would attach a graphic here to show you but I cannot.
So if you go to your own test site, you will see that only Simple products have the option for “download”
No other product option has the download or virtual option

Hi,

Ok, now I understand your query.
Actually WooCommerce works in such a way.

If you check wp-admin add prodct page, you will experience the same.

I am also explaning why this:
1. For simple product you can define that as Downloadable so it has the option

2. For variable product you will get downloadable option under each variation

3. External and Grouped product can not be defind as Downloadable
