Dear Support,
After updating to 2.3.4, I found this error message as pop-up for all user types:
DataTables warning: table id=wcfm-messages – Invalid JSON response. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/1

But its quite strange one as we can’t generate it at our environment.

We are debugging this issue deeply but didn’t see anything like that.
Just for information we want to know something:
Did you update WCfM in normal way from wordpress.org?
If you updated it manually, I mean downloaded the updated vwrsion and replace the files then it will not work.Kindly Confirm.

Hello again,
I have just sent you a vendor account user & pass.
I did the update in the normal way from the wordpress updates page within the wp-admin.

I’m facing the same thing. The same error as highlighted by topic creator, after updated to the latest version 2.3.6.I’m not sure whether this issue still persist or not. I will keep monitoring this.
Will keep updates here if there is.

Sorry, our development team can’t get any clue from here.
They want to see the actual JSON response. You may find that under “Network”, response of the ajax request.
Between, Are you using any caching or optimize plugin ? If so, then please disable that and check once!!

Hi,
Yes, both tables are exist.
1. FYI, I did some testing by sending a message from Admin to a specific vendor. The message sent but not displayed in the list of messages in WCFMU’s Admin. I’ve checked also in database, the sample messages are available.
2. From my side, I did also disabled some plugins, just in case. However the pop-up error (notice and messages) still persist.

At the moment, it works. But I stil have to monitor.
However now I cannot activate Ultimate with the license as the new file given.

Found the error still issues by Chrome’s Developer tools. Same response. But the pop-up no longer displayed.The sample message sent not listed in Admin’s message list.
My database may compromise with this new file. Activation of WCFMU become haywire inside WP settings panel.
Revert back to latest version WCFM.

Now after reverted back to latest update (not the file given by you to me), I’m having activation issues although have reset number of site in my account.
Just to let you know, the browser thrown up messages below (either activation using file given or also activation using latest update)

I’m more prefer stable update that issued internally by WP.
You said no connection between files given by you with license key, but how come now the activation becomes an issues.
You see the snapshot given earlier (see post #10607), there contradict with the message and with the green ticks.
Two issues, I would like to highlight here:
1. The pop-up issue (notice and messages)

Kindly deactivate and delete WCFM Free and re-install from wordpress.org, hope your issue will be resolved.
Regarding license please never delete and install the plugin again when license is in activated mode. Deactivate license first and then you may do anything.
For now, kindly deactivate the license and re-activate it again.

It’s a bit weird, after installing deinstalling few times (WCFM and WCFMU files), the pop-up issues are now no longer there.
But the test messages still not show of WCFM’s admin notice or messages panel list. Need look into it.But I’m still having with activation after installation of WCFMU file, although all functions in WCFM are still usable.
The activation still appear as mentioned in post #10606 where the browser throw some messages.

Hi,
Some update:
Although no pop-up anymore, looking from Chrome Developer Tools, the error still appear and keep counting. No message sample list appear on admin still although few messages weere sent from admin to vendor. Looking into database, no messages recorded in DB table.Please note that the messages are recorded in DB table before everything become troubles as for now.
I’m still looking way around on how to settle the activation issues. It looks like that it relates with license instances generated in database as need to be reset at server however I do not know how to do that.

Hi,
There was a issue regarding PHP version so data were not fetching from DB.
We have changed that and updated in wordpress.org, so asked you to delete and re-install WCFM, as we didn’t change version now.

Hi,
Messsges are there, kindly change the filter to read mode.
When someone writes a message or admin sends a notice it automatically markd as read for that user.
Default list is unread nessages so those are not arrived.
Write something to a vendor or vendors as admin and then check via vendor login.

I have just marked that message open, please check.
Yes, messages will have delete option in very near future version.
We have implemented that feature and still debugging how to make it most useful for users. We even think of like/dislike option for messages as well.
