      Hi,

Tried to upload an image from WC Frontend Dashboard using a vendor account (Wcfm_Vendor) and it shows “Sorry, you are not allowed to attach files to this post.”

      Tried the following approaches:

      1. Upload the image via the enabled wp-admin (back-end): Able to upload image successfully

      2. Reset all the capabilities under Woocommerce -> Tools: UNABLE to upload image successfully

      3. Check if there is a plugin known as WP User Avatar but not installed.

Can you please advise what else I can do to fix this bug ?

      Thank you.

      Hi,

Please go to WCFM Capability and press “save” once.

Between, do you have any other user role controller plugin?

Are you using WCFM Affiliate plugin?

      Thank You

      Hi,

have checked both the Roles setting in WordPress (Users -> Roles) and WCFM Capabilities section but I was not able to find which exact setting has to be enabled to allow wcfm_vendor to upload image as I am not that well familiar with the plugin inner workings.

Hope you can help answer this as this issue only arises when front end is activated.

      Thanks

      Hi,

Did a few tests with WCFM Frontend Manager and below are the findings:

      1. Assigned Administrator to the vendor user account and able to upload image

      2. Assigned Shop Manager to the vendor user account and able to upload image

      3. Assigned Store Vendor to the vendor user account and not able to upload image

Seem the Store Vendor is not able to upload. In addition, this vendor is activated using
      WCFM – WooCommerce Multivendor Membership.

      Kindly advise.

      Thank you.

      Hi,

Between, do you have any other user role controller plugin? -> Disabled all user role controller plugin

      – Which plugin you had? Do you remember, if you changed anything for “Store Vendor” user role?

Well, user role is WP property, if you changed this using any plugin and then delete that but still changes are save in WP, you can not alter that by deactivate or delete plugin.

Have to edit that user role again and restore to it’s initial state.

Please share your site access with us, we have to check “Store Vendor” user role permissions – https://wclovers.com/woocommerce-multivendor-customization/

      Thank You
