Invalid username during registration

      Hello again. After updating to the newest version I am unable to create a vendor account as the vendor or admin. Both attempts give the following error:
      “Please enter a valid account username”
      Any help would be grately appreciated.

      Hi,

      Please enter a valid account username

      – Well, this error generated by WordPress user creation function.

      Try to create an user using same username from wp-admin -> Users -> Add New

      Hello. That’s seems to work for creating a new vendor account/user from wp backoffice,but how do I go about getting the plugin to do the same?

        Also, after creating the account in wp backoffice my website login gives an error that the username or password are incorrect.

      Well, please know me – what kind of username you are using?

      Is there any other user registration related or membership plugin in the site?
      If so, then disabled those and check once!

        Hi. I tried numerous different usernames before I gave up trying. The only way I can add a new vendor is to add the user from wordpress backoffice and assign store vendor during adding. The only membership plugin I have is the one required for this plugin. I currently have the site under construction but I can turn that off if needed?

      Hi,

      I think something else blocking this. WCFM vendor registration use WP default user validations only.

      Still, give me an example of your tried usernames, I will try at some other environment.

      I simply updated my woocommerce, removed a couple unnecessary plugins and it seemed to solve the issue. Thanks again,I do appreciate the help.
