      Hello,
I would like to request for the annoying
      //Comments
to be removed from all the javascript files,
as when using either Autoptimize or WP Fastest Cache to minify Javascript it just completely breaks the plugin (both the free and ultimate version).

My website is really javascript heavy and things like this are unacceptable (having to manually remove them each update is annoying).

I would be really grateful if they were removed.
      Thanks

      Hi,

I am really very sorry for such inconveniences, this is no way acceptable.

We will definitely fix all these by next update, even we are goong to use minified script for WCfM very soon.

Can you please tell us which are the plugins you are using in for caching then we will specifically test with them.

Autoptimize has no issues as all our demos run with this and nothing breaks.

      Thank You

Hi, just selecting in “Autoptimze” the option “Optimize JavaScript Code?” breaks most of the functions (adding products, seeing products in products page and even the settings page is all messed up.
I have tried “WP Fastest Cache” instead of “Autoptimize” and it still breaks the same functions.

Script minification causes some issues, we will handle this in new version be sure.

      Really sorry for such inconvenience.

      Hi,

WCFM 3.2.2 has just released and we have added exclusive support for WP cache and minify plugins.

Kindly update yours and take a look.

Be sure, you have to purge existing cache and JS/CSS minification after updating the plugin.

      Thank You

Hello, i would like to report that even after the update there are still issues with javascript (when adding a product).
I checked wcfmu-script-products-manage.js and there are still //Comments inside it which breaks when minified (the first one i saw), it seems most of the issues are resolved but it still breaks due to the added //Comments within all of the javascript files.

Im sorry if im annoying and thanks.

      Hi,

      No way of annoying!!

We have tested the plugins with Autoptimize, WP Fatest Cache, WP Super Cache, High Velocity Minifier and many other plugins as well.

Those comments are not all issue for minification.

Between, currently which caching or minifier plugin you are using in?

Hope you have purge opd cache and js/css minifies?

Can you please take a look into Google Chrome Incognito mode, may be some browser caching is there!!

And please tell me the plugin name, I will check that again.

Really sorry for the repeating the same trouble.

      Shhiv

Really thanks for such detailed info, we are checking with the same setup.

We didn’t check with A3 Lazy Load even!!

      Thanks for your cooperation.

      Hi,

Can you please send me one more screenshot please!!

When you are getting such page – https://puu.sh/y0ZBn.JPG
I want to check browser console errors.

Easiest way to get this – Open the site in Google chrome and press F12 and you will have browser console, hope you already know about this.

Actually I have setup the things and getting a error from Autoptimize for “Force JavaScript in?” this settings but that error is not from WCFM scripts, so I want to verify are you getting same error or something different!!

      Thanks for all your cooperation.

      Hi,

I have debugged into the issue and this is not for WCFM scripts or any comment within Javascript files.

Can you please contact us at mail, I want to show you snap and if you can tell me from which plugin those are loading?

Even I found that your site “contact us” broken and reason is same.

Between, all these only because of “Force JavaScript in?” this option from “Autoptimize”, actually most of the scripts can’t work from head. This also break Javascript inter-dependencies, best is to avoid this for large sites, specially when you have too many plugins and lots of Javascript files.

Please contact me at wclovers.contact@gmail.com or submit here https://wclovers.com/contact-us/

      Thank You

I am closing this topic as this issue is not from any WCFM JS, rather it’s configuration mismatch.

WCFM has no issues with “Autoptimize” and “A3 Lazy Loading”

      Thanks for your patience.
