Refund amount not including shipping (order status is processing)

      Hello wclovers

      I have an order for 750 and shipping for 50, the order isn’t completed or shipped yet, the (Test Customer) requested a refund right away, but the amount s only 750.

      Also I’ve tested this with vendor doing the refund request, and the max amount is 750.

      Is there a way to make amount with shipping fee if order isn’t shipped yet, and without shipping fee if order is shipped ?

      Or any other work around ?

      I guess there should be a mechanism to refund shipping fee separately? We are running staging tests but did not test refunds yet. Will check and let you know if we find anything 😉

      Over the top of my head, can you change order status and re-test. Ofcourse, if refund is given before shipping, then customer needs full amount back.

      I’ve did full testing on refunds,

      And yes, I think there should be a way for vendor or admin to edit / include shipping fees as well.

      Well, shipping cost are generated for vendors?

      If so, then this will refund with vendor item full refund as well.

      Shipping fee goes to vendors yes, but refunds doesn’t include shipping..

      Are you doing Full Refund or Partial Refund?

      Hi,

      1- Customer cannot choose partial refund so it’s full refund by default (good idea if vendor or admin can edir).

      2- Vendor can do Full Refund and Partial Refund, and both of them don’t include shipping.

      3- Admin cannot do refund, can only accept refund requests

      Regarding the issue, I’m doing Full Refund.

      – Yeah right, if Admin approve this refund then shipping cost will be also refunded.

      Product is 750$
      Shipping is 50$

      Refund amount should be 800$ and Not 750$.

      Hi,

      I checked it out, it is working correctly behind the seen,

      But better to add the shipping showing in the total amount, because now there are two issues:-

      1- Vendors gets confused.
      2- Admin may get confused and refund product price without shipping as it is should product price only when admin tries to accept refund request.
