Hello,
I am trying to figure out how to enable the registration process to firstly ask if the person registering is an individual or a company. We would like a marketplace where individuals as well as shops could sell their products.
I have the different plans configured, e.g. Individual, Business, etc… But when registering I do not get an option to choose.
Appreciate the help.
Cheers,
Andrew

Hello, No, I do not get option to choose when going to Registration Page on website. All are indeed ‘free’ memberships.

I am getting a little frustrated with the extremely long delays in responses on my issue, which was originally logged/posted on February 12th.
How long does this normally take? Can someone please provide me with some assistance as we are very interested in your product but this is really a bit of an issue.
I would really like some support please.

Hello,
Sorry for the delay.
Please go to Membership Settings page from Admin dashboard >> Memberships and Clicking on the Gear icon. There under General tab you need to set the Subscription First Step value to Registration. Now use your membership plan page for vendor registration and you are good to go!
Let me know how it goes. Thanks! - March 3, 2020 at 8:29 pm #109753andrew1Participant
Okay thanks for the info.
However, that is now for a business to register as a vendor. How do I now also create an option for an individual person to register as a private vendor instead of business vendor?
- March 3, 2020 at 8:30 pm #109754andrew1Participant
I need to have an option on the registration page so that the person registering can choose for a ‘Private’ or a ‘Business’ registration? How do I do this?
- March 4, 2020 at 1:35 pm #109865SushobhanKeymaster
Hello,
I guess you created different membership plans ‘Private’ and ‘Business’ for that purpose. Now when a person signup as a vendor, after they fill out registration fields then they will need to select the corresponding membership plan applicable for them.
Do you want something else?
Thanks! - March 4, 2020 at 3:30 pm #109943andrew1Participant
Yes, I want a plan with signup for Individuals as well as a Plan and Signup for Businesses.
See initial details in my ticket at the start.
I currently have one registration form and I have 3 plans (Private, Business and Club). I want to have the option for a user to choose the correct option from ‘Private’, ‘Business’, or ‘Club’ when they register.

Hello,
I just confirm this flow in my last reply. If you are following my replies, then you must have set Subscription First Step value to Registration and use membership plan page as your registration page. So now, when anyone comes to this page for registration, first the registration form is opened. After they fill their details and go to the next step, there they will see the 3 membership plans to choose from.
Is there anything in my answer that you didn’t get? Let me know! - March 4, 2020 at 4:33 pm #109957andrew1Participant
Okay, now I understand what you meant. Thanks.
Where can I change or customize the fields (field names and titles) of the registration form?
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
Can you please send me your current membership settings page snapshot? Also send me a link of your site.

Hi,
Please use Membership Plan page as your registration page [ link- http://www.imnlimited.com/shop/vendor-membership/ ]. As, I can see, You are still using default registration page, that’s why you are not getting the plan selection step.
In your membership settings page, you have chosen a different page for ‘Custom Plan Page’; deselect this value back to ‘–Select a page–‘ and checkout the default flow of registration.Thanks.

Okay, now it is becoming much clearer, thanks!
Now, how do I get the form to display in the correct language for the site, it should be Dutch? Or do I still need to complete some translations for it?
- March 5, 2020 at 1:25 pm #110070SushobhanKeymaster
Hello,
You need to use Loco translate to translate those fields. Here is the guide- https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/beginners

Hi,
You can change the vendor storefront slug http://………../shop/store/[your_store] to your preference from Settings >> Marketplace Settings, change the Vendor Store URL value to your desired one. Your current WordPress installation folder is named shop, so for now all the link in your site starts with http://………../shop/.

Hi,
You can change the font size(smaller), Try this css in your activated theme’s style.css
#wcfm_menu .wcfm_menu_item span.text { font-size: 13px; }
Thanks.

Hello,
You need to change two things for this-
1. Admin Dashboard >> Settings >> Marketplace Settings and from there change Sold By Label as it serves the first part of the phrase ‘Store’
2. Using Loco translate change the string ‘Vendors’ from WCFM – WooCommerce Frontend Manager
Thanks
