      Hello,

I am aware of the problem saving settings on 2nd language, so I try to not do that,

But today I tried to translate the Membership welcome message and email message, when I did that and saved it, the membership table got ruined because it saved 2nd language text on default table.

I had to redo the table again after translating the messages, but if I need to do adjustments again I will have issues again.

      Thank you

      HI,

All these emails under membership setting are now WPML compatible.
You may add separate mail body for all languages.

We didn’t mention all in change log.

      Thank You

      Hi,

How can I do that ?

WPML > String Translation ? I cannot find them there, only Email Titles available for translation.

      Hi,

No no, you don’t have to use WPML string translation.

      It’s very simple.

Suppose you have 2 languages –

      English
      Arabic

Now, once browse membership settings page in English and create emails in English.

Then browse same page in Arabic and create Arabic emails.

      Hope you get my point.

      Thank you

      Hi,

      very clear,

But the biggest issue is when saving membership settings on 2nd language (other settings like membership features will override default language).

For example : The Membership Features are saved (ar translated) and overrides the (en) language.

Screenshot of the issue showing in en after saving settings on ar : https://www.dropbox.com/s/dct2j4pnwix8gh8/membership%20features.jpg?dl=0

      Hi,

      How Arabic for features?

      Do you added those here?

      Thank you

1- I add them in English only.
2- I translate them with String Translations.
3- When I go to Membership settings to do email settings, features show as (translated).
4- When I save settings, it saves the (translated) features and override the English features.

So everytime I save settings in Ar, I have to go back to En and fix features Titles again.

You can access my site and test it out if you want

      Hi,

For features we didn’t made any changes in this update.

So i think this issue was there from before.

Well, till now you were saving settings only in English, right?

      Thank you

This is an old issue, I opened this Topic because of it.

      You said :

Then browse same page in Arabic and create Arabic emails.

If I go to the Arabic emails and add my own welcome email and SAVE, then “Membership Features” in arabic will override english.

I actually don’t want to edit any features in 2nd language, it is already set in EN and translated by WPML.

      Hi,

Understand, then we have to resolve that as well.
So that you may edit/update settings from both languages.

Kindly send me your new demo access.

      Thank you
