Some of Dashboard -> Capabilities override Groups Capabilities.

Hello wcfm support team,

Some capabilities override groups & staff capabilities and some doesn’t, it is a bit confusing.

Check screenshot attached

1- Disabling “Manage Products” will result all groups to not be able to manage products, **Product tab will not show**
2- Disabling “Adding Products” will NOT result all groups to not be able to add products, *Groups can still add products* This is the good way it should be.

Number 2 is preferred, it is also good option to not allow new vendors to not be able to sell without buying a membership (if vendor registered using dokan registration form or plugin other forms).

Yeah right. Manage Products and Add Products at Global capability totally disabled Product capability for Vendor user role.

Here is a general suggestion for you – if you are using Groups then keep ON all capabilities at Global Capability settings.

Number 2 is preferred, it is also good option to not allow new vendors to not be able to sell without buying a membership (if vendor registered using dokan registration form or plugin other forms). – If you want achieve this then just set “Product Limit -> 0” at Global Capability setting.

Setting Product Limit -> 0 will give vendor (Unlimited Products)

Yeah right.

Actually, in PHP 0 and empty returns same results for some PHP versions. So, we have kept this reserve number.
