How should we configure Stripe in woocommerce to have stripe connect in the withdrawal of sellers?
If split pay is activated do we need to make automatic withdrawals?
thank you - May 6, 2020 at 5:42 pm #127460SushobhanKeymaster
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
To configure Stripe Split pay for vendor payment first go to Settings >> Payment and enable Stripe Split Pay. Please remember you will not need any other stripe plugin for taking customer payments. Payment setup documentation- https://docs.wclovers.com/vendor-payment/#stripe-split-pay
Stripe split pay overrides your withdrawal settings. So you don’t need to set withdrawal automatic.
I hope this answers your question.

Hihi,
We have purchased Ultimate and Groups & Staff add ons. I have set up with Stripe for payments. The problem is I don’t see WITHDRAWAL button on my vendor’s DASHBOARD!
I have also set the capability WITHDRAWAL REQUEST OFF under WCFM dashboard settings. Do I have to set all WITHDRAWAL REQUESTS OFF with the GROUPS Capabilities too?
PLEASE HELP! We are about to launch the site, this is the only error that we are having!
thank you
regards,

Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
If your vendor is assigned under a group then group capability will override the general capability settings. Now, if you want to enable vendor withdrawal request, you’ll need to ensure the following 2 settings-
1. Withdrawal Request option from capability screen (Settings >> Capability or Groups >> Edit selected group >> capability) is ON. like this- https://imgur.com/qCTWqPh
2. Withdrawal mode should be set to ‘Manual Withdrawal’ see this here- https://imgur.com/HXaKR8C
Let me know how it goes.

hihi,
Great! thank you so much! the withdrawal button is back! So, on the vendor dashboard, I clicked withdraw – pending withdraw appears with an amount. see picture but then I don’t see any data orders that the vendors can request.
How can I get the orders request in the payment set ups? Instead it states “NO COMMISSION SELECTED FOR WITHDRAWAL” how can I get the commission appear in the payment?
thank you! We are almost there. Very much appreciated your support.
Best Regards,

Hi,
Which order statuses are selected underAllowed Order Status for Withdrawal
settings (Settings >> Withdrawal Settings)? See here- https://imgur.com/zKGu906
Please send me a snapshot of the Withdrawal Settings page. Also to know more about Withdrawal settings check this documentation https://docs.wclovers.com/withdrawal/.

Payments / withdrawal documentation needs to be improved – there is no mention of withdrawal settings for Stripe split payments.
Can someone update the documentation with recommended settings for marketplaces that only want to use automatic split payments?

Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
When you use Stripe Split Pay, it will not use any of your withdrawal settings. When a customer pays via Stripe (Make sure Marketplace Stripe Split Pay is enabled under Payment methods from wp-admin >> WooCommerce >> Settings >> Payments), the commission fee is calculated in realtime and both vendor and admin account gets credited simultaneously.
I hope this answers your question.

Yes – it clarifies in this forum. However, for someone new (who has just switched from Dokan) one thing I notice is that documentation for WCFM is unclear and a lot is missing from it.
It is good to have an answer here in the forum (thank you), however it would not be required if WCFM documentation was more clear and organised 😉

Yes, we are very much aware of this and focusing more on updating our documentation. I guess you already visited our documentation site https://docs.wclovers.com/. We are in a process to add more and more documentation in upcoming days to fill this gap.

Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
There are 2 possibilities for this-
1. You have disabled Withdrawal Request from Capability page, see here https://imgur.com/N1kf51b
2. You have set Withdrawal Mode to Periodic Withdrawal or By Order Status, instead of Manual Withdrawal from Settings >> Withdrawal Settings.

When you use Stripe Split Pay, it will not use any of your withdrawal settings.
– so do we turn Withdrawal module OFF? (if only method is Stripe split pay)

Hi,
Thank you for your quick response.
Ref. “1. You have disabled Withdrawal Request from Capability page”
It is not disabled, please see attached screenshot for Capability Withdrawal.
Ref”2. You have set Withdrawal Mode to Periodic Withdrawal or By Order Status, instead of Manual Withdrawal from Settings >> Withdrawal Settings.”
Withdrawal Mode is Manual withdrawal, please also see attached screenshot.
3. We set withdrawal payment methods as Bank Transfer and Cash Pay.Unfortunately, still withdrawal not appear in vendor dash board. kindly advise?
Many Thanks in Advance!
