Stripe error – checkout as guest

Hi Guys

When checking out as a guest, stripe throws this error

Error creating customer record with Stripe: Invalid email address: false

both at checkout and in the stripe logs

the payment is sent to the vendor however and the order appears to be correct.

all e-mails are sent and the order appears in the vendors store-manager

no errors are thrown when creating an account during check out, or when logged in. only when purchasing as a guest

I have attached the screenshots for you

this is happening with the very latest updates rolled out today

– Is this error happening when you are purchasing by creating account, or only as Guest purchase?

Well, Stripe requires a valid user for the order. Otherwise it cause issue during refund for “Guest Users”!

We will disable guest checkout to prevent this in the future
