Hello!
Has anyone experience with syncronizing products from an external source? Like an XML feed or from Google Sheets?
So that prices, description can be updated? And maybe even keep the stock in sync with external shops?I am looking in to this and thought I would ask here.
Also: Is there a facebook group for WCFM users for questions like this?
Thank you!

Hello,
Right now you can only import products from csv. Synchronizing products from other source is not available. Though it can be done via custom coding if the other source provides an API.

Thank you!
For the import with CSV, can the vendors themselves upload the file and by doing so updating the products and stock availability?
Is this inbuilt?
Thank you

Hi,
Yes, your vendors can upload their products directly from their dashboard. Product will gets uploaded with all the WooCommerce product fields which includes price, stock, sku etc. Even custom meta’s are supported.
This feature is part of WCFM Ultimate https://wclovers.com/product/woocommerce-frontend-manager-ultimate/

awesome! so importing variable products shouldn’t be a problem either?
I wonder if there is a way that a vendor can create a google sheet file with their products and the products are updated via a cronjob via the google sheet?
I know that WP ALL Import plugin has that functionality, but I am not sure if it works for different vendor (with different sources from where to get the data). Do yoou know a plugin for that? That would make things really way more easy.
Thank you!

This way stores using for example Google AdWords and the Google sheets as their Google product feed can keep their products in sync..

As I mentioned earlier, right now only import from csv is supported. Synchronizing from external API is possible but has to be custom coded.
Thank You!
