      Is it possible to create a list of vendor categories, and manually assign a vendor to one or multiple of them?

      Currently the vendor categories come from the products, which is inflexible.

      Hi

      I love this idea, if this could be entered when vendors signup that would be even better

      For example

      Admin can create a list of vendor categories for example

      E-commerce
      Business services

      And vendors assign them selves to a category when signing up

      Hi,

      Well, here has some limitation form WordPress.

      Vendors are user element and WP does not support taxonomy for user.

      Taxonomy only supported for Post Types.

      Thank You

      I am making a portal where the customer would

      1. Choose his location.
      2. then choose the category of products needed.
      3. Products from various vendors (IN THE SAME LOCATION ONLY) of the selected category are generated.
      4. Customer selects the products.
      5. Pays & checks out

      I am facing a problem where there is no option for category list after selection of the LOCATION.

      please provide for any shortcode or any other solution to resolve this.

      Also I need to remove the map from the page where the search has to be made.

      Hi,

      You need to pass “category” attribute with blank value like this: [wcfm_stores category=””]

      Thanks,

      I mean the store category not product category. Check previous attachment.

      Hello, still waiting for reply on this…

      Hi,

      Adding the below code to your child theme’s style.css file will remove that category filter.

      #wcfmsc_store_categories + span {
      	display: none !important;
      }

      You don’t have to add this as I’ve already added it and its working fine.

      Thanks,
