Hi, thank your for looking into it. I get your point.
Only that if your shipment tracking is item specific, you need to make the email sent to the customer item specific as well. Right now the customer receives an email containing both items when you mark the first item as shipped. That means he receives an email confirmation for an item that is not yet marked as shipped.
When you mark the second item as shipped, customer receives a second email containing both items again. In other words: customer receives the same email twice.
I don’t see why things are supposed to work like that.
markusParticipantThank you for your assistance!
That was the case for order status “on hold” as well es “processing”. I don’t see any difference when the order status is changing (besides the dark grey marker switches to green).
Actually, that’s another point to mention: I was expecting, that orders with order status “on hold” don’t show up on the vendor’s order page. But first things first:
No idea what you (or me or anyone) have done, things look different now.
When a customer orders 2 different items from the same vendor, the vendors now finds the order twice on his orders-page (status “on hold” or “processing” resp.). Showing it twice is certainly better than not showing it at all 🙂 It might still cause some unwanted user experience:
When the vendor marks the order in line 2 as “shipped” the customer receives an email telling that both items have been shipped. That’s ok. Unfortunately that doesn’t change the view of line 1 regarding the very same order. There is still the “mark as shipped”-button.
markusParticipantWell, I am using WC Marketplace 3.0.5 , NOT WC Vendors.
Also Woocommerce 3.3.5, and WCFM Ultimate 4.0.5So I am still worried 😉
