Hi, first of all – I really like your plugin. I made it almost through the complete configuration, but there’s one thing I can’t figure out: My configuration is quite simple. I want to sell only digital products, so there’s no shipping. It’s only the product and the tax. The vendor should receive 90 %, the admin 10 %. The only payment method is Paypal. In commission settings I first set Commission for Vendor, Commisson mode percent, Commisson percent 90. Then I did a sale via a Paypal Sandbox. Outcome: The complete amount (100%) was sent to the admins Paypal account. Then I changed settings to Commission for Admin, Commission mode percent, Commission Percent 10 and did another sale. Outcome: The complete amount (100%) was again sent to the admins Paypal account. I did not found any possibility to send commission to the vendor. I completed the orders and hoped that something may change, but it doesn’t. So I’m currently lost a bit. Do I as admin have to calculate the vendors commission by myself and send it to his Paypal account manually? I thought there might be an automatism which allows to easily send the commissions through the backend…?

Thanks in advance for your kind support.

      HI,

Thanks for get in touch with us.

Well, PayPal doe not have any such API right now to distribute Admin and Vendors payment instantly as Customer pay for an order.

      Please check this – https://wclovers.com/knowledgebase/wcfm-marketplace-withdrawal/

You don’t have to calculate anything manually. Everything is already there. Just vendor has to send withdrawal request for their commissions to Admin and Admin has to approve those. Admin may also enable “Auto Approve” option, so that payment will be instantly go to vendor’s account as they will raise request.

Feel free to know me if you still have any confusions.

      Thank You

      Hi,

thank you for this information. But is there a possibility to send the whole amount to the vendors paypal account instead of the admins (so I can send an invoice for the admins provision to the vendor) or is the only way possible the admin receives all payments and the vendor has to send a withdrawl request?
And if this is the only way Paypal payments work – is there another payment method which is more flexible in the sense of my first post?

      Thanks again for your help.

      HI,

Sorry, right now it’s not possible using PayPal. It does not have enough API right now.
Previously it had Adaptive gateway, but right now that is deprecated.

Well, you may use Stripe Split Pay for the purpose. Hence vendor will receive their money as soon as customer pay for the order.

      Thank You

Would it be possible if the payments went directly to the paypal, stripe or other payment account listed on the store’s account, instead of going to the admin’s account? Then the stores would have a commission balance they owe to the admin and the admin isn’t involved in the payment between the customer and the store. I believe this is what they are looking for and is a feature I would really really like to have as well.

This method would allow the stores to run a balance owed to the admin/website. I would prefer this method of allowing the payments to remain between the store and their customer and the only funds the admin/website is involved in is the fees it is owed. I would rather worry about getting my small commission than worry about a chargeback on a product. There are several benefits of the payment going directly to the store. This is a feature I have searched every for and no one has incorporated it or if they have the rest of their features lacked.

      HI,

      1) How do I set up the commissions withdrawal system with paypal? Do I go to settings > withdrawal settings > input my paypal client id and paypal secret key? How do I find that secret key?

      – Please check this – https://developer.paypal.com/docs/integration/admin/manage-apps/#

      2) How can I delete a vendor? I accidentally created one

      – You can delete vendor users form wp-admin -> Users

      Thank You

Hi, thanks again for your support!

Just for my understanding: The PayPal Mass Payouts API is deprecated, but Paypal names Payouts (https://developer.paypal.com/docs/payouts/) as successor for sending payments to different recipients simultaneously. Isn’t PayPal Payouts an option?

      Thanks

      Hi,

Yeah right, it’s normal payout and available. But mass payout and adaptive payout deprecated.

Well, normal payout option is there with WCFM Marketplace. You have to enable payout in your PayPal account and setup under WCFM Admin Setting -> Withdrawal

      Thank You

Hi, sorry, I hope you’re not bothered by my questions. The risk of getting in trouble when we receive all payments first and forward them to the seller afterwards is hard to tell, because from the point of view of the buyer, we are the payment recipient. So if there will be any trouble with the seller, the buyer will try to get his money (which we probably forwarded to the seller in the meantime) back from us.
Is there any possibility to configure that the buyer sends the money directly to the sellers Paypal account?

      Best regards

Hello, I’m interested in similar. I’m working on the local market site from Serbia, there is no way to pay me here when I ship it. Is there a way for a seller to charge products and an admin to send a payment request either monthly or on a total fee.

      Hi,

“Is there any possibility to configure that the buyer sends the money directly to the sellers Paypal account?”

      – Sorry, this is not possible right now, PayPal has no such API, so we are helpless.

      Thank you
