GuestI was wondering if it is possible for a vendor to sell/ship its product to any specific city.
And if any costumer from other city tries to order it the get the message of not/available for there area.Any Suggestion

MemberHi,
Yeah possible, but using custom development.
Actually, WC does not support city list by default, it only works with Country-State.
So, we have to create State-City configuration and then only it will be possible to create City wise shipping restriction!
Thank You

GuestHi,
For my project I setting up shipping by zones, and I have set up multiple zones within the country for each major city in each state and set shipping option as “store shipping” so vendors can choose their own options for each zone.
But this restricts places for delivery outside of these zones I have set up, so when I setup another zone for the country as a whole, these zones don’t work. Is it possible to have these zones for each city set up and then another zone for the country so they work in tandem?
Thank you

GuestAnother example is if I have a zone setup for a particular city within a state with its own delivery options, and for the rest of the state I dont have shipping options unless I create another zone for the state as a whole.
But when I do that then the zone I created for that city within that state doesn’t show its own specific delivery options, it will show the delivery options set up for the state as whole

– WooCommerce supports only one zone for a country.
Please try Country wise shipping as vendor!

GuestHi,
So does that include not being able to set multiple zones within a province as well?

ParticipantI’m also experiencing issues with zone shipping.
Admin has set up 5 zones. (See Screenshot ShippingZonesAdminSetting.jpg)
Vendor has added shipping methods to the first 3 zones (last two zones are left empty) (See Screenshot ShippingZonesVendor-ZoneSummary.jpg )When a customer from an address that satisfies the 3rd shipping zone only (Rest of Canada) the shipping calcualtor is incorrect. ( see screenshot ShippingIncorrectAtCart2.jpg) It should be showing a shipping flat rate of $30.00 OR offer “local pick up” BUT not an “option for free shipping”. Free shipping should only show up when that condition is satisfied.
1 Why is “free shipping” option showing showing up when the order is not satisfying the condition settings?
2 Why is the flatrate of $30.00 not being added to cart? This order satisfies that condition.
3 Why is the shipping name “Shipping 89”??Attachments:

ParticipantHere are some additional screenshots to support the zone shipping issue I’m experiencing
Shipping zone settings for “local”
Shipping zone settings for “rest of Province”
Shipping zone settings for “rest of Canada”This is a serious issue on our marketplace as you can imagine many purchases require accurate shipping and would appreciate immediate attention

ParticipantI can send you log in credentials for Vendor, Customer, and Admin if you would like to test the settings as well.
Please let me know what email address to send those to.

ParticipantI would really like to get this sorted out as it seems that “zone Shipping” is not working correctly.
WC Lovers can you confirm that zone shipping is working correctly with Postal Codes on your setup?
I have attached some more screenshots of my admin shipping settings

ParticipantHello? Can you provide any help on this? This is a very critical issue as the zone shipping is not working.
I can send you admin login accounts if that helps. I just need to know where to send (email address?)

MemberHi,
https://wclovers.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/ZoneShippingSettings1.jpg
– Problem is here. WooCommerce does not support this. If you set multiple zones for same country but WC only consider first one.
You may test this for Admin products where admin Shipping rates will be applied.
For such purpose, country -> state shipping will best for vendors.
Thank You

ParticipantI think I found the issue. The zone settings can only have the “store shipping” option in each zone.
If the other shipping options are added then the error is produced.
Please confirm that in these instructions: https://wclovers.com/knowledgebase/wcfm-marketplace-store-shipping/
that ONLY the store shipping option is to be selected from the “In the Shipping method popup select Store Shipping from the dropdown and save all changes.” and NO OTHER shipping options are to be added to the zone created in the Admin settings.
Thanks

– Store Shipping method should be added to WC shipping zones as method, then only vendor will able to use that zone for shipping rules.

ParticipantCan Admin add the other zones as well?
So all 4 shipping methods can be added to a zone in the admin settings?
I my experience if I added the other zones the zone shipping never worked properly. It only worked if the zone shipping selected was ONLY Store Shipping.

MemberHi,
It’s not right. Admin always allow to add own shipping methods and shipping rates. Even, if any vendor does not setup own shipping rates then Admin rates will work for him. All methods add, no issues – https://ibb.co/F8p2cD5
