It would be nice if the vendor/store pages would appear in the global WordPress search function somehow. It is integrated into many themes and used on a lot of eCommerce sites. I’m even using Ajax Search Pro, but I guess the changes needed would be the same.
Searching for a vendor name just returns the according product, but not the vendor pages until now. I know the pages are created dynamically so I’m not sure if or how this could work.
(I also wonder if those sites can actually be found by search engines, but that’s another question.)
Have a nice day!

We will definitely look in to this.
“Ajax Search Pro” -> Please know me exact URL of the plugin you are using!

Hope you have already setup this to your site.
Can you share a vendor store page for your site with me to check how this conflict with default search?

I can give you an account, but I’d suggest checking the default WordPress search first. If the default search can find a store site, Ajax Search Pro will be able to find it as well.
I double checked by deactivating the plugin, and the default search doesnt come up with store sites either.

“stores are nothing but site users”
was the missing piece.
Knowing that, I was able to achieve what I need thanks to that information.
For the default search, the WP extended search plugin mentioned above will do the trick as it adds users to the basic search.
Consider this solved 🙂

I wanted to add a guide how to enable user search with custom URL for Ajax Search Pro, but trying to post this I’m always getting an ” ERROR: Your reply cannot be created at this time.”
So, sorry. I’ve tried without any curly brackets and stuff but it doesn’t let me post it.

Kindly send me that from here – https://wclovers.com/woocommerce-multivendor-customization/
We will add that under our FAQ section.
Thanks for your cooperation.

There is an error sending that as well:
“There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”
Very strange. Can I drop you an Email?
