Conflict in Awesome Fonts

Hi Sir/Mdm,

I am using wcfm front-end manager ultimate and the recent updates is causing my theme to lose linkage to awesome font icons. It seems like the theme is using awesome font paid version and wcfm front end manager is causing the theme to redirect to the non paid version.

The end results is that my site has some awesome font icons appearing as squares instead of icons.

Is there a way to disable wcfm front-end awesome fonts?

Hi,

Please update your WCFM to latest version 5.4.3, there will be no Font issue.

Well, don’t forget to clear all site caches.

Oh but hang on!

Didn’t support tell me that my theme was at fault and there was nothing you could do for me about the missing fontawesome 5 icons!!!!

So there is a BUG after all!

Well, there was a Font Awesome icon issue after WCFM 5.4.0, as we had updated Font Awesome version which was not supported by many themes.

But we have created own font library in 5.4.3 version and now there is conflict with theme’s font awesome version!

Hi Sir,

I have edited the child theme css file to use the theme awesome font pro version and it seems that it has resolved all issues. d-n-13 missing icon for vendor is not witnessed in my setup.

Just sharing for your better ease of helping others.

I don’t work for wclover. I’m a customer as well. I’m using rehub theme too. Try my solution and see if it works for u.
