CSV Import

Trying to import product with WC import from WCM dashboard. I have downloaded csv file from one website using woocommerce export, but when I try to upload in Vendor’s dashboard on WCFM I am getting this message ‘Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.’

Somehow CSV file upload disable for your site.

Please use this and enable that – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-add-mime-types/

(Temporary Workaround) If you are running WordPress 5.0, there is currently a bug that prevents a CSV from being uploaded. As a temporary solution, you can add this row to wp-config.php file, and remove it after the WP bug is fixed:

define( ‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true );

Hello, we purchased this plugin (unlimited sites, unlimited years) pretty much only for this feature. Is there any way we have this available as soon as possible?

I tried this:
define( ‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true );

but it only fixed CSV uploads as administrator, not as vendor.

That line is not required.

Please install this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-add-mime-types/

And add “csv=text/csv” under it’s setting panel.

Hi, yes, i already have “csv=text/csv” in the mime types settings plugin. Problem is that the CSV upload works fine when logged in as admin but not when logged in as a vendor.

What exact your getting as vendor?

I am on this page store-manager/products-import/ (Products -> CSV Import) and when I upload the file, I see this:

“Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.”

The same file gets uploaded on the same page when I login as admin.

I am using the following plugin versions:
WordPress 5.0.2
WooCommerce Frontend Manager 5.2.8
WooCommerce Frontend Manager – Ultimate 5.2.7
WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace 2.0.7
WooCommerce Multivendor Membership 2.3.0
WP Add Mime Types 2.2.1

Just letting you know that I just updated to WordPress 5.0.3 (it was released about an hour ago), and still got the same error. “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.”

It works fine when we log in as admin, but not when we log in as vendor. I dont think this is a WordPress issue. Please help.

Aha, works now, thank you very much!!! I just upgraded to v5.2.9 and v5.2.8 respectively, and works perfectly.
