Deleting product, but not deleting product photos belongs to

      I just realised this,
      Deleting product, but not deleting product photos belongs to.

      I have deleted one product to test, it gets deleted. but why those photos belongs to the product not gets deleted? is this bug?

      Hi,

      WordPress didn’t do that, on post/product delete it just remove the association with image attachment but actual image never deleted.

      You can test this from wp-admin for product or any other post types and will get the same result.

      So we are very much limited here.

      I see, thanks for your clear reply.

      do you know any solution for this? any plugin for automation or even check once week or month and delete photo files not used by wordpress?
