      Hi,

I actually need to make multiple edits to the product form, and it’s probably something beyond adding snippets to the functions.php of my theme.

First, I want to remove any instances of shipping (both in settings AND in the ‘store policies’ section)
Also, I’d like it if somehow some of my custom fields could somehow be in the main section (below or above short and long description) rather than in a tab at the bottom.
Also, I’d like to change the name of ‘simple’ product to something else, and remove the checkboxes for ‘downloadable’ ‘catalog’ and ‘virtual’

What’s the best way to do this other than editing the core files (which I know I really don’t want to do)?

      Hi,

Thanks for get in touch with us.

Well, first go through WCFM capability setting -> you may disable unnecessary fields for your vendors easily.
Between, hope you have WCFM Ultimate as well, then you may control all this with more flexibility.

You may set which fields are required using Custom validation setting option as well.

Now, adding new fields -> off course possible to add using code snippet.
Please know me one of your field, I will give you code snippet for this and then you may add more fields using that.

      Thank You
