How to undo/remove a vendors association with a Product?

Hi, I tested the Add a product to a Vendors’ store, but now my site is displaying that vendor’s association with the product everywhere! On notification emails, on the store front-end (logged-in as guest or member or another vendor). How do i remove that link please? I tried click the small ‘x’ in the product-admin page where it displays a drop-down choice of Vendors, but it will not delete the link between Product an a Vendor. I tried the obvious, deactivating all other plugins and using basic theme, but it still remains.
