      Hi

We’re planning to launch our marketplace in a few weeks and I’m a bit concerned about the management of images once we have several hundred or even thousand vendors each with hundreds of products. As an admin I would ideally be able to go to the media manager and see a filing system with folders for each of the vendors stores – with their images other folders for the website more generally. I’m worried that if we don’t do this at the beginning the media manager would soon become chaotic. I know there are plugins out there where I can create folders in my media manager but I don’t know how we would have a folder set up for any associated store. Please can you advise?

      Thanks

      Jamie

I’ve added a media folders plugin which seems to help us keep our website images separate to an extent from store images which is helpful. No need for further assistance with this. Thanks

      HI Jamie O’Reilly
Would you be so kind as to name the ‘Media folders’ plugin that you have used please
I am sure that this would help other users
      Thank you

      Hi

I tried Filebird and thought it was a great solution but unfortunately, I found that vendors were able to create folders as well and access folders that other vendors had created – argh. Had to deactivate it quickly. I did ask the plugin maker if there was any way that access to the folders could be restricted to a specific user level eg admin but they said that was not currently possible so at the moment I still don’t have a solution. Interested to hear from anyone else on something that might work.

      Jamie
