I understand that once vendors complete their membership subscription, they are charged the associated fee. We have a high standard for applicants and so it would be even better if we could not trigger the payment until their subscription/application has been approved. As I understand it, having read a previous ticket, this is not how things are set up. Is there any work around to this as some customers are going to feel aggrieved at being rejected and then really cross when they do not receive any sign of the refund in their bank account for up to 10 working days.
Is there any work-around here?

Well, in such case it will be best to keep a “Free membership”.
So, vendors will first subscribe in this free plan and if their application approved they may subscribe to other paid plans later.

– Not at all. They may upgrade/change membership plan anytime. User details will be same all time.
