Hi,
1)
it seems there’s a little bug with the product approval.
So when the vendor is publishing a new product, the said product is pending upon approval.
Till there, no issue.
BUT….IF the vendor edits one more time that non approved product meanwhile, and clicks on submit…then the product bypasses the admin approval and is live right away. It’s problematic, because that way any vendor can publish anything without admin approval.
Tanks to let me know how to resolve that bug.2)
Still on the FM vendor product page….I’d like to force every product to be added automatically to catalog, so vendors don’t have the option to choose if yes or not.
Could you please give me the path (php) to do so?Thanks

– From where you are editing this product? WCFM Product manager or wp-admin product manager?

– Do you want to all your site products in catalog mode?
Thank You

From WCFM Product Manager…..testing with a dummy store.

Of course not.
Sorry it’s my mistake. I’m not used to work with “catalogues” so I though catalogue = shop….Thanks

HI,
Well, I have tried to generate this but I never get “Submit” button for “pending approval” products – https://www.loom.com/share/735ee412f4c8427ca9633c1be0b21f85
Yeah, catalog mode is something else – https://wclovers.com/knowledgebase/wcfm-catalog-mode/
Thank You

i have a similar problem with this process. Not this bug, but when the vendor have a product approved, they can edit the product and put different price, pictures, title… literally a new product without approval. I saw the option to disable edit, but i wanna have the vendor can edit data of the product and then the product go to pending status, like a new product.
Is not a bug, but its a little problem in my use case.
Maybe you can guide me with a little snipet to process the products edits from vendors to pending status? Thanks!

Hi,
Well, this is depend upon “Auto Publish Live Products” capability setting – https://ibb.co/r38hWvv
If you set this OFF then products will require again approval after edit.
Thank You

Not in our case.
Indeed we have turned off the “auto publish live products” capability..it doesn’t change anything: the vendors can still bypass the approval process by clicking on “submit” a second time…and that’s it…the product is then live.- October 14, 2019 at 10:45 am #86738WCFM ForumMember
Are you using WCFM – Group addon as well?
If so, then please check at Group level capability setting.
