ParticipantHi,
I’m trying to manage and adopt the member user group capability settings of WCFM (/wcfm/wcfm-groups/ capability tab) for other plugins and I need to understand how WCFM capabilties is setup. I have two questionsFirst question:
When looking at the capability settings of WCFM (/wcfm/wcfm-capability/) I see 3 user levels
Vendors
Shop Managers
Shop StaffWhen looking at the user roles in the user settings in wp (/wp-admin/user-edit.php) i see diferent role titles.
Is it correct to asume the following :Vendors (/wcfm/wcfm-capability/) equals Vendor Manager (/wp-admin/user-edit.php) ?
Second question:
When using WCFM membership (/wcfm/wcfm-memberships/) one can change the capabilties of the members by associating a member group /wcfm/wcfm-groups/ to the member type. As I would like two groups of members (one group that can list products and posts and one group that can only list post)
What are the related capabiltiy slugs for Articles? - April 22, 2018 at 6:57 am #22174

MemberHi,
Thanks for your information.
First let me clear your user role confusions –
1. Admin -> Store Admin
2. Shop Manager -> Shop Manager
3. Vendor Admin – > Vendor
4. Vendor Manager -> Staff for Vendor Admin
5. Shop Staff -> Staff for AdminNow tell me where you are stuck with capability settings.
Thank You
