      I am trying to set approval not required for new member to become vendor. I have unchecked the ‘Require Approval’ box in the membership/general settings, but this does not seem to have any affect and new members still need admin approval before they can complete the process of becoming a vendor.

      Hi,

      Please check at individual membership manage page, there is also “Approval Option”.

      Hi,
      I am also have the same problem . I didn’t get your answer . I have unchecked every ‘required approval ‘ box nothing changed it still need Admin approval.

      Hi,

      Well, “Required Approval” option present at two places – Global Setting -> Vendor Registration and at individual membership manage page.

      Please be sure, it’s disable at both places!
