First off, THANK YOU! This greatly reduced the number of plugins I needed.
I just went through the vendor registration process twice with two separate accounts. I have vendor approval set to manual. No notification went the the admin. The user account was set up but they had the default role (subscriber) assigned.
I have my site set up so under the default “my account” page a user has a link to the vendor registration page. My method of upgrading. By going here (Same page as “become a vendor” under registration) after the account is created the application is sent to the admin. I approve and now the vendor has the Vendor user role.
Once this is done the new vendor is asked to set up their store. None of that information is saved and when the vendor gets to the dashboard they need to fill everything out again.

      To sum it up
Become a vendor only creates a customer account.
Vendor registration after account is created creates a vendor account.
Store set up tutorial does not save.
Store set up from dashboard does save.

      Hi,

Thanks foe get in touch with us.

Well, you have enabled option “Registration approval required”, right!
That’s why when a user registered his user role keeps at “Subscriber”, once you approve his application then that user will become “Vendor”

But Admin notification should be there!

Can you please check at wp-admin -> WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs -> is there any error related to this or not!

If possible please share a demo vendor details with me, I will check setup-widget saving issue.

      Thank You

      Hi,

First tell me, do you have removed/uninstall your old multi-vendor plugin?

Yeah right, WCFM Membership is required for WCFM Marketplace vendor registration.
      Please check this – https://wclovers.com/knowledgebase/wcfm-marketplace-vendor-registration/

Without this how you register as vendor?

Between, I more concerned with this – 2018-08-22T11:19:55+00:00 CRITICAL Call to undefined function wcfm_followers_url()
      Do you have WCFM Ultimate?

      Thank You

I do have WCFM Ultimate. I also have WFCM free installed. Are the two conflicting?

I have WooCommerce memberships to allow for multiple levels of customer memberships.

With my current issue of the front “Become a vendor” not working here is the work around.

After creating a user account go to my account.
On the My account dashboard click on register as a vendor tab.
Click the link that shows and this will let you register as a vendor. This secondary method works.

It looks like you (or someone else) did this. I had a notification in my admin account.

Did the shop setup work? Might need to log out then back in to trigger it.

Edit: Forgot to add. Yes I did remove the old multi vendor plugin prior to installing all of the WCFM plugins.

      Hi,

What is your WCFM Ultimate version? They are conflicting but there has version dependency.

“On the My account dashboard click on register as a vendor tab.” – How are you having this tab? WCFM has noting like that!

WCFM only adds a “Become a Vendor” ling which redirect to registration page, possibly this you mentioned “secondary method”

“It looks like you (or someone else) did this. I had a notification in my admin account.” – Notification for what?

“Did the shop setup work? Might need to log out then back in to trigger it.” – If Admin Approval disable then vendor will go to store setup instantly after completing registration.

      Thank You

        Ultimate version is 5.

How I make the register as vendor tab os through Yith Customize my account plugin.

        https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-customize-myaccount-page/

This allows me to make a link to the vendor registration page.

I could easily do away with the become a vendor on the main registration page.

“Notification for what?” That a vendor had registered.

Store setup. That was the initial bug report. Going through the setup was not saving store information. Did it save for the temp account I made you?
