WCFM Category Hierarchy – PLEASE READ.

Hi, I’m using WCFM Category Hierarchy to help vendors choosing categories in the “new product” page…but:

1 – It shows “Filter by category…”, where all other choices show “Choose…” so, please fix it by put “Choose Category” instead of “filter by category”…
2 – Dimensions are little different respect all other choices…
3 – I need this also fo other custom taxonomies that have a hierarchy, can you do it?
4 – Put this useful feature into the standard plugin!

I like it! there are some design issues that I don’t quite understand why they did it that way. This is one of them.

Ah, another thing…is quite SLOW!!!!!
And this is CRUCIAL! Is it possible to have also the “secondary” tab always open instead of wait it opens?

1 – I click on the “main field” called “Filter by….”…

2 – I HAVE TO WAIT….

3 – Then will appear the “secondary field” with the hierarchy of the category I selected at point 1.

IS TI POSSIBLE TO HAVE THIS “secondary field menu” already open (blank) in order to not wait it opens?

Hi,

We can’t make the secondary field already open because the field is being generated after user chooses the main category, I mean the secondary field values are generated according to the main category field value selected.
Maybe its taking time because you have a lot of product categories.

I underestand, you can YES make already the secondary field already open, just without any “name” on it….
The problem remain!
It is VERY SLOW waiting the secondary field open!!!! Can you make it FASTER? Thanks

Hi,

I understand your problem but we can’t make the secondary field be already open as I already said that the secondary field is generated on selecting the main category. It can be slow due to a lot of categories or some other issue’s also. Can you share your website login details with us so that we can take a look into it?

Hi,

We’ve checked your site, nothing seemed to be creating any issue. The site speed is also good.
The secondary product category field also gets generated fast. Can you please check for yourself once now?
