How does WCFM Marketplace work?

      Hello,

      we want to use WCFM Marketplace, but can anybody explain how it works? We want to know, how it works, when somebody buys something from “Seller 1”. And pays with PayPal. And we have a commission of 8%. Do we receive the money first and then we can pay out it to the seller? Or does the money go directly to the seller and we are receiving the commission. And what is, when the buyer is using a bank transfer. Are we receiving the money on our Bank Account or how does it work? We really need an Answer!

      Thanks for get in touch with us.

      Well, in general when customer place an order whole amount goes into admin’s account. Then vendor has to place withdrawal request for their commission. Now admin’s approval money will go from admin account vendors account.

      There is an exceptional option as well, Stripe Split Pay – using this money goes directly into vendors account as soon as customer pays for the order.

      I have a question regarding Split Pay.
      I have set payment option to be only Split pay, but I have still options to whether auto approve payout request or not, and also choose withdraw limit and withdraw threshold. How is this relevant when money is already in vendors account since customer made payment ? and must vendor still submit withdrawal request.
      One last thing; I noticed that stripe secret key is visible in admin FM area, should it not be hidden at all times?

      – yes we can, but as this only for Admin so didn’t make this hidden.
