Shipping location + Front-end search/filter

Hello wcfm,

I’m wondering if I can connect shipping and search together, maybe in the new wcfm marketplace plugin ?

The idea is:-

1 – Vendor chooses shipping country / state / city.
2 – Customers can use sidebar categories / search / filters to filter products by country / state / city.

(Check Attached Screenshot).

My current method is :-

1 – Vendor chooses shipping
2 – Vendor chooses category called (cities) and it is not connected to shipping – vendor has to match his shipping options with every new product added
3 – Customers filter by category (cities).

As you can tell my current method is not optimal.

Any advice or solutions ?

I saw shipping by zone and shipping by country / state, but I still don’t know how I can filter front end store products by country / state

Hi,

There is another bug related on having Flat Rate + Store Shipping together in the same region.

1- I have Flat Rate and Store Shipping : https://imgur.com/1OQ1nuA

2- I set all 3 shipping methods as vendor : https://imgur.com/N9G0bDL

3- It will not show “Flat Rate22” from vendor settings, only “Flat Rate” from Admin : https://imgur.com/nx3XXVr

Note : I tested this in another region without having admin “Flat Rate” and I had no problem.

1- Disabling shipping from WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Marketplace Shipping should hide the settings in vendors shipping settings :

2- Is it possible to force vendors to add at least 1 shipping method before they can sell ? it will be hard to make sure every vendor have shipping settings done.

3- Please add an extra delete confirmation message when deleting a shipping method, I just tried to click Edit, and clicked Delete by mistake, afraid vendors will have the same mistake with no delete confirmation message.

You are right, vendor method should override admin method for vendor’s product.

– Right, it’s a bug

2- Is it possible to force vendors to add at least 1 shipping method before they can sell ? it will be hard to make sure every vendor have shipping settings done.

– will check this, as shipping setting has many capability options as well. So disable selling without shipping may be conflicting one. Have to check this one!
