WCFM Marketplace Withdrawal – Disallow Withdraw COD

Hello good wcfm team,

I’ve been reading your new articles regarding the features of the new wcfm marketplace, I love all the options it looks promising.

A – I would to talk about the Disallow Withdraw feature, I’ve been trying to find a good solution for COD this for weeks, your way of fixing to not charge vendor at all.

Isn’t there any way to charge vendors for COD ? especially in our country most people prefer COD payment. Is it hard for all multivendor plugins to charge vendors for COD ? adding balance in minus / negative amount ?

let’s consider fee is 5%.

1- Selling product PayPal for 100$ = [Vendor balance = 95$] + [Admin Fee = 5$]

2- Selling product COD for 100$ = [Vendor balance = -5$]

More conditions can be added
ex. If vendor balance reaches less than -100$ then he cannot sell/withdraw until he pays.
ex. Vendor’s balance = 95$ + (-5$) = 90$.

B – Another big issue also related to COD is, some vendors cannot do COD, or maybe they’re shipping using shipping company. We haven’t seen wcfm marketplace shipping settings yet, but is there any solution for this matter ? perhaps a checkbox for vendors to choose whether they want COD for this specific shipping method or not ? Hopefully you already thought this through.

Note : there is typo in the knowledgebase “You may add a (not) for future reference as well.”
Note 2 : Is it possible to add store’s paypal/bank info in the Reverse Withdrawal page so vendor knows how to pay ? idk if it’s there didn’t test this yet.

You’re just updating me and didn’t release it yet, my mistake.

Adding to Note 1 and Note 2 :-

Note 3 : It is very very important to add feature allowing vendor to choose each product to have COD or not, not all vendors can provide COD. What do you think and what solutions can be developed ?

Note 4: Reverse Withdrawal includes charges / commission right ?

Note 5: Is it possible to lock selling and not just withdrawing ? not very important but it might be handy.

Note 6: Is it possible to combine Reverse Withdrawal & Normal Withdrawal Requests ? Possibly pay with the current balance ? it might be complicated but at least it will be possible to automate this process .

It’s as normal as other withdrawal system, we are additionally keeping that negative balance tracking here.
It’s mainly helpful for admin.

I have tested the new feature “Reverse Withdrawal” and it works flawless ! Very well done wclovers !

Also I have to mention that “Reverse Withdrawal” won’t work in all cases, and I opened a related Topic here : https://wclovers.com/forums/topic/activate-deactivate-cod-by-vendors-when-desired/
