We just updated to 4.1.3 from 4.1.2 but don’t see any change on the cancellation option. When will that be available?
daleParticipantYes I see you have added the Disable Vendor function. But if a vendor has been a member for 3 months and decide they no longer want to pay for a membership there has to be a way for them to be able to cancel it. Otherwise they would have to contact the owner which would require additional work for the site owner to manually disable the vendor.
I understood from a previous forum post that they had to be added to a “disabled” membership but if they don’t have to that then it would be better. The main thing is they must be able to cancel membership and before the latest version I thought they could.
daleParticipantThank you. Our developer looked at it and can’t tell how you are differentiating the shipping entries and what the parameters are. What is your charge for customizing this?
daleParticipantIn case I wasn’t clear – after adding the function it shows ALL vendor’s shipping classes, not just the logged in vendor
daleParticipantI would really appreciate an answer to this. Currently a member can’t cancel their membership and I’m sure this is only after the last update. See screenshot.
daleParticipantThe shipping classes wanted are just the ones created by the site admin in Woocommerce. On the attached screenshot the ones marked in yellow are vendor shipping classes which we don’t want.
daleParticipantSo can you modify the function so it doesn’t show all the vendors shipping classes?
daleParticipantThank you. That works! Is it possible to modify it so it only shows shipping classes specified by the site admin? It now shows each vendor’s shipping class as well as the overall shipping classes set up in Woocommerce. If the site has 100 vendors this list is going to get very long!
daleParticipant“When they cancel their membership they become part of the “non-member membership” with no capabilities.” When we were first setting this up I was told there had to be a membership to which a cancelled member would belong to. So I set up a membership called Non-member. They can’t add products or anything except view their profile. See this thread, reply #23435 https://wclovers.com/forums/topic/membership-cancellation/
1. They can access the dashboard but in their Profile there is no longer an option to cancel the membership, only upgrade.
2. I don’t know. What happens to their products when a vendor doesn’t renew their membership? I presume they would no longer be for sale.
daleParticipantOK, thank you
daleParticipantCan you answer my last question? Tks
daleParticipantOk, so then how do I make it automatic?
daleParticipantOK, so how can their details be removed from the frontend? Does this have to be done manually?
daleParticipantThis member cancelled the subscription and became a “non member” which is the membership assigned when they cancel. As you can see the details of the vendor and products are still on the website.
daleParticipantNot sure what was happening but it seems to be Ok now.
When the vendor has cancelled their subscription is there a way to remove them from the frontend of the website? Their details are still showing along with any products they’ve added.
daleParticipantThank you
daleParticipantIt would be good if you mention that on this page https://wclovers.com/product/woocommerce-frontend-manager-ultimate/.
I have installed the free version of YiTH Auction (last update was only 2 months ago so I don’t see that it’s outdated) and it seems to work without needing WCFM Ultimate. The description on the page is misleading as it makes it look like auctions are included. I read on the forum somewhere that WCFM Ultimate is needed for auctions and that is the only reason I bought WCFM Ultimate.
