I have the same issue. I believe the stock manager definitely needs to include regular and sales price. It isn’t enough to manage stock if you cannot adjust the price at the same time. I am having to allow access to the backend so that vendors can use the plugin stockmanager there. However, we are having compatibility issues and permission troubles and it we are not able to make it work without giving vendors the capability to edit OTHER vendors’ products. Clearly, your front end has the ability to adjust capabilities and this must write those changes to the database. Those changes overwrite my attempts to manage capabilities on the back end using other plugins and I have to do so in order to make other things work. If your stock manager had the ability to adjust price, it eliminates a major reason I have to allow access to the back end.
    Thanks

Frankly, I think they already do that by make the core free while still including all of the necessary functionality… Nevertheless, seems like it should be a “simple” addition, if there is such this in programming… LOL

I have. WooCommerce has a paid plugin for it ($29). I also checked the WP plugin library and I was unable to find a suitable plugin. One did it only on the back end, not the front. Others had basic functionality in the free version but the pro versions always had the limit on backorders. I am also concerned with compatibility issues as my list of plugins is growing long.

Has this functionality been updated yet? I have a fake shop I use for testing and one vendor who is not ready yet. When I offline their store, the products still appear. So I changed it to disabled and then the “sold by” tag was removed from the products so that when you go to products on the back end as admin, you can still see the products but there is no “sold by tag”. When I re-enabled the shop, they came back.

Anyway, we need a way to disable a shop AND their products at the same time. It seems kind of silly to me. If a store is disabled, why would their products still be available? In order for me to completely hide the fake store, I have to disable it AND go edit all the products myself to hide them. That doesn’t make it very easy to turn my fake store off and back on for testing purposes.

    Thanks
