Yes I know what you mean.
Normally when you write in on one line in my country it is:
Street, Postcode City

or:

Street
Postcode City

But having it on separate lines I don’t mind so much that postcode is also on a separate line 🙂

Why do you want to have the postal code etc. changed on the dahsboard and not on the store page of a vendor or on the invoices etc

Everything that Vendor fills in in his dashboard > Location is visible on his store page when you activate widget in the side bar.
If he doesn’t fill a field than that field is not visible on his storefront except for Country. But vendor doesn’t know that so the street 2 field is confusing.
Also I don’t need Country visible at storefront because I will be having only vendors from my own country.

Plus the order of address in my country is:
Street
Postcode
City

Other info you can create with Store Invoice.

Ah! Now I see! I am already using Loco Translate but I didn’t know I had to sync after update to get the strings.
Before sync I could not find them.
This was my first update of Marketplace.
Is this always the case that as soon as you sync the .PO file after an update new language strings comes available?

I hope you don’t mind me bumping this topic but I tried above code and in Vendor Dashboard the field for Bank Details is visible.
But when making a test purchase and choose Bank Payment the Bank details are not shown on the finish page and also not in the customer email.
What am I doing wrong?

Right now I use store invoice for this purpose so bank details are visible in the PDF that is sent in customer email.
But first of all in Store Invoice I can not mark order as sent because the Shipping Tracking info is required and sometimes we don’t have this in my country (see other topic).

But second I would rather have the Bank details directly shown in the customer email instead of an pdf attachment.

B.t.w. I don’t mind the other placeholders like in the price fields. But this placeholder isn’t supposed to be there in the weight field.
I hope you know what I mean.

However I still have a problem with Shipping by Weight page.

1] Where Vendor has to put in weight (grams in this case) there is a placeholder with a price like the second one with the cost as per that weight.

The free shipping string is also used as a placeholder in other fields e.g. Shipping by Country > State

So as you see 0.00 is a price and not a weight. With placeholder that has 0.00 it is much to confusing for vendor how to put in the grams.
And two, Free Shipping is also visible in the weight field.
So I would like to remove the placeholder for the weight field.

Hi,

I´m sorry I thought I understood but it still isn´t clear for me.
To be honest Shipping settings are driving me crazy.

A person purchases product X( 1 item) and Y (2 items) and the shipping settings are:

Default Shipping Price: USD 10 ( this is base shipping price)
Per Product Additional Price: USD 2 ( applicable for different type of product)
Per Qty Additional Price: USD 1 ( price for additional product of same type)

Then the total shipping amount will be – 10 ( the base price)+ 2( additional price for 2 different kind of product)+ 1 ( for item Y having 2 items)= USD 13

Default Shipping Price = USD 10
Customer buys a Shirt, Purse, and Sunglasses = 3 items of the same store.
If no additional price set than in Cart/Checkout customers sees the total price of Shirt/Shoes/Sunglasses and 10.00 shipping price, right?

It’s the additional prices that’ts confusing me.

Label: Per Product Additional Price
Helptext: If a customer buys more than one type product from your store, first product of the every second type will be charged with this price

What is meant by more than one type product and first product of the every second type?
Are Shirts, Purse, and Sunglasses 3 different product types?
So:
Default Shipping Price = USD 10.
Per Product Additional Price = USD 5.
No matter what product type customer adds to cart first (Shirt/Purse/or Sunglasses), Shipping Cost is always USD 10. Say Shirt is added to cart first.
Customer ads also Purse to cart = Total Shipping costs are USD 15 (= + USD 5 Shipping Cost)
Customer ads also Sunglasses to cart = Total Shipping costs are USD 20 ( = + 2x USD 5 Shipping Cost > 1x for Purse and 1x for Sunglasses)

But when customer ads another Purse ( so 1 shirt, 2 purses, and 1 sunglasses) than Total Shipping Price remains USD 20?

But Vendor still has an option in his dashboard “Hide Map from Store”.
How can I remove this?

Although what I don’t understand is that when List Banner Type Video/Slider is not possible than why is that field also a dropdown list?
That is confusing for Vendor.

I checked on my system and it makes sense that list banner is not possible to be video banner.

@SebastianFloKa I hope I don’t have to spent as much time as you on trying to make WCFM run as required.
My biggest problem is the translation. There is a translation file in my language but it has a lot of flaws.
I’ve been busy for weeks now with the proper translations before I can setup the store because with a lot of things I don’t understand what it means in my language.
Besides that some other language files have 600 lines of translation strings while in my language file there are only 300 lines of strings.
Once I find the string in English (in Notepad++)I understand better what they mean than in my own language (translation file).

Anyway, I don’t want a video banner at all.
In my last post I confused Banner Type with List Banner Type.
So now Vendor has the capability to choose also a slider as a Banner Type.
