    No, it’s a separate issue from what I mentioned in the other thread.

    It’s regarding withdrawal for the vendors. They are not getting any shipping $ as expected upon subscription renewal. it works correctly for the initial order, but no shipping $ for renewal. much like the commission bug in this thread how it only was effecting renewals.

    Can you add additional code to what you’ve provided above to include shipping?

    I appreciate your help very much

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    So you are aware… The shipping is still not going to the vendor for the renewal as expected with this added code.

    However, the code did seem to correct the commission issue so we’re half way there.

    Thank you!

    It’s wrong because only one shown in my example is a subscription, so it should only add one shipping to the renewal/recurring total in this case.

    The one circled in red is wrong, because it came from a regular product not a subscription.

    I’ve made a better diagram attached explaining. Please see attached

    Thank you for your response I appreciate this. @Craig might find this code helpful.

    After testing regarding this we’re leaning towards using the commission structure in combination with the withdrawal methods already provided to us with WCFM. Still testing the best methods to be honest.

    Thanks again!

    This bug is happening only when the products are purchased from different vendors. One Subscription product from one vendor and any non subscription product from another vendor.

    We need to be able to allow multiple subscriptions and products to be purchased simultaneously. We have to allow all vendors the ability to charge their own shipping.

    Your help working through these bugs I’m experiencing is very much appreciated.

    Hello WC Lovers!

    Both automatic renewal subscriptions and manual renewal subscriptions are effected by this bug, but to different extents. Please see my findings below.

    Automatic subscription renewal: Vendor should get shipping $, but gets nothing.

    Manual subscription renewal by Admin: Commissions go haywire for vendor/admin resulting in vendor/admin receiving wrong commission amount. Vendor should get shipping $, but gets nothing.

    Thanks for helping to resolve this issue it is very much appreciated.

    Please see attached images. I think this issue is being caused because the vendor store information isn’t being populated upon the renewal subscription order.

    Will you please help us to resolve this?

    Thank you!

    Yes. We are using the default Stripe gateway now, but need help working through calculation issues. I’ve tried to detail these issues in a few other threads here in the WC Subscription forum. I writing this here so you’ll know these calculation issues are not resolved. It’s actually since switching I found one new one.

    So I definitely need your assistance working through these issues in these threads below.

    I have to be honest though. I’m not so sure the Stripe Split Pay would be a good solution as a payment gateway for subscriptions anyhow unless a lot more functionality is added.

    For example all these features below are supported by using the regular Stripe gateway, but almost none of these features are supported for split pay currently. Only “subscriptions” as of now.

    subscriptions,
    subscription_cancellation,
    subscription_suspension,
    subscription_reactivation,
    subscription_amount_changes,
    subscription_date_changes,
    subscription_payment_method_change,
    subscription_payment_method_change_customer,
    subscription_payment_method_change_admin,
    multiple_subscriptions,

    Without these functions being added to the stripe split pay app, it’s not such a good option as a gateway for subscriptions at this time. Just my opinion, but seems obvious to me. It’s why we’ve decided to use the normal Stripe gateway in the meantime unless something changes in the future regarding this.

    Best Regards and Thank you for your continued support it’s very much appreciated.

    I was also thinking about this same thing. Kind of how woocommerce loads their product pages with tabs for description, reviews and store policies. It loads very fast as compared to loading a new page each time.

    Does anyone have a screenshot of what the results look like for the code above?

    Thank you!

    Please see the attached two screenshots. initial and renewal

    These are the withdrawal invoice screenshots for the correct initial subscription charge and incorrect renewal charge. These screenshots show the miscalculations and what seems to be happening for the renewal and what the correct initial charge looks like.

    Please assist with solving this bug, because it’s a critical feature breaking issue regarding the way subscription renewal commissions work.

    I’ll try to help you although I’m not part of WC Lovers support team.

    1) When you add a new product where it says Subscription price ($) you can choose the duration as well as how often a subscription renews.

    2) You can use the Sign-up fee ($) feature and make the amount negative. For example -20.00 sign up fee will give them a $20 discount off the first year.

    Test this for yourself to make sure everything works correctly including the renewal. maybe do a day subscription first to test everything is working.

    Check the image I attached for a visual.

    Good Luck

    Some initial testing… With one vendor and one product for now… I ran several transaction tests. Commissions set to Percentage and fixed

    When I added the code below to my functions.php file the percentage calculated correctly for everything, but the fixed rate of .30 tripled for some unknown reason.

    add_filter( ‘wcfmmp_is_allow_commission_on_tax’, ‘__return_true’ );
    add_filter( ‘wcfmmp_is_allow_commission_on_shipping’, ‘__return_true’ );

    adding this code below did nothing that I could tell.

    add_filter( ‘wcfmmp_order_item_quantity’, function( $quantity, $product_id, $variation_id, $item_price, $vendor_id, $order_id ) {
    return 1;
    }, 50, 6 );

    This is actually a major issue because these little bits could add up to a whole lot of missing revenue and potentially angry vendors. I feel the community would benefit greatly if you guys were to come up with a comprehensive solution for this issue, because in a micro transaction situation the miscalculations add up very quickly.

    Best Regards

    What is the final code solution to this issue? I’ve read through this thread and Craig’s previous thread regarding this issue, but don’t really see a final code snippet solution…

    I’d also like to charge the exact same commission structure that Craig has explained in his previous posts/threads.

    With regards to the .30 fixed portion of the commission once per vendor per order so each vendor that has sold items in a specific order would only be charged once for the .30 fixed portion per order no matter how many items that vendor sold in that specific order. The thinking behind this is, because Stripe and Paypal both charge 2.9% plus .30 per transaction.

    I pieced this code below together from the two threads regarding this issue I could find. Can you please paste a complete code that would accomplish what both Craig and I are explaining? Thank you!

    add_filter( ‘wcfmmp_is_allow_commission_on_tax’, ‘__return_true’ );
    add_filter( ‘wcfmmp_is_allow_commission_on_shipping’, ‘__return_true’ );

    add_filter( ‘wcfmmp_order_item_quantity’, function( $quantity, $product_id, $variation_id, $item_price, $vendor_id, $order_id ) {
    return 1;
    }, 50, 6 );

    I would personally welcome something like this as an added feature for commission settings.

    add_filter( ‘wcfmmp_is_allow_commission_on_tax’, ‘__return_true’ );
    add_filter( ‘wcfmmp_is_allow_commission_on_shipping’, ‘__return_true’ );

    As an update regarding the sub-category issue for anyone else that might be having the same issue… Disclaimer… This is a workaround I did that worked for me, but may or may not work for others.

    I added this code temporarily….

    add_filter( ‘wcfmmp_force_store_taxonomy_refresh’, ‘__return_true’ );

    added code to a snippet after unchecking the main category “Main Category 1” and only leaving the sub-categories for “Main Category 1” checked and it populated the sub-categories for “Main Category 1” correctly. I was able to break the sub-categories again for “Main Category 1” by checking the main category “Main Category 1” along with the sub-categories.

    I should be able to check/select both a main and sub-category for any product without breaking the vendor store list or vendor category side bar, but this is my current work around for this issue.

    Please see image attached for an example of the workaround. If anyone has suggestions of an actual fix please feel free to reply to this thread.

    Best Regards.

    I also have a similar issue with the sub-categories not all showing up correctly on the vendor store list and vendor store widgets. Has anyone been able to determine how to fix this issue or what causes it? I’ve been trying to figure it out for the past 3 months without luck, so hoping someone here has some suggestions regarding this?

    Thank you!
