Hello
I have this test info as part of woocommerce so I wasn’t aware that I needed to add it to this section as well. I suggest editing that document to include this information.
Thank You
vanilladev89ParticipantHello
Currently, if a vendor wishes to increase their number of products, they purchase a product limit increase. Let’s say for this example that I set this up for 1 product at $10 but I also want another option that is 10 for $100 and 20 for $200. How do I create more options and have them appear on the product limit increase page?

I am unable to say without question how it was fixed, but the admin account is showing properly again.

vanilladev89ParticipantI apologize for my error. I set a personal commission percentage and not a global.
vanilladev89ParticipantHello
I may no be understanding something properly but the commission overrides did not work on the membership level. I changed the affiliate fixed amount for a particular membership level and when I tested it through a different account the global amount still applied instead of the membership override.
I am not sure if this is somewhere else as an addon but I think a commission transaction detail for the affiliates would be very good piece to add to the affiliate plugin. Right now you give transaction number amount and type, but it is not linked to the actual details about why they got that commission and which transaction allowed that commission.

vanilladev89ParticipantMaybe these are bugs from update. I also notice that now the save button is missing from vendor verification page.

I am trying to set up facebook vendor verification and I was wondering why we need permission for friends list? If you remove friends list from the requested permission the facebook verification would be easier. Facebook allows for auto approval for email, profile picture, and name.

Okay, very good. I will explore this option. Seems to me like the remedy for my request could be to make another expiry rule called negative limit rule for when the vendor goes into negative product limit yes?

I have a suggestion to make off the back of this thread. It could be a good idea to attach the filters for some capabilities to the capabilities. What I mean by this is take shipping for example. If the store admin disables shipping capability, there should not be any shipping stats in home page or options in the interface anymore and for some admins that use some shipping, maybe you make these options capability options as well. To Further my example, I noticed that in Store Policies, even though shipping is turned off, there is still section to write a shipping policy. Options like this should just be disabled if shipping is disabled per vendor capability.
Just a thought.
Thank You
vanilladev89ParticipantHello
I have thought about your question and I think that my original request is not enough to professionally remedy the issue. I think that if a vendor account reaches the negative product limit, the system should automatically disable all product capabilities except manage, and add, show a notice that the account is not in good standings, show a button prompting the vendor to purchase additional space, and hide all products until the vendor fixes the product limit amount. As you know, this can be done by purchasing more space, upgrading membership, or deleting products. What do you think?
Thank You
vanilladev89ParticipantHey @platform247
If I understand your situation properly, I am pretty sure it’s because you are missing the brackets. It should look like this [wcfm_vendor_registration]

vanilladev89Participant@richard.cannasolutions I used to have this problem a lot too and I found a work around. I go to my account located in the footer of the site and logged in before searching the forum. It has worked flawlessly for me since I started doing this.
Good Day
vanilladev89Participant@tech2 $1.50 of $100 is 1.5% not 15% and that’s more than likely how affiliates are going to see it. Another downside I thought of about basing the site-wide affiliate program on how much the admin receives per sale is that you would be opening the affiliate to argue if they are receiving the proper amount. I know 15% sounds better than 1.5% but it’s not worth the headache in my opinion.
vanilladev89Participanthello
Thank you so much for this!
vanilladev89ParticipantHello,
I am now wondering, can I have the code to move the ask a question button back on the inquiry location on product single page?
I am using Ark Theme.
Thank you
vanilladev89ParticipantHello
I have a question towards this thread though because I noticed that when the vendor publishes and then deletes the item, they get that product back.
Which means that the number, in this case 40, is actually the total number of products they can have published at one time, not how many they publish correct?
thank you
vanilladev89ParticipantI want to add some more to this possible feature improvement.
Currently, if there is a check mark on the Disable Ask a Question Button option, you will have have an “Ask A Question button” in individual product’s inquiry tab but you will have not have the ?Inquiry( This is default ) button on Vendor Store Banner.
Alternatively, if you deselect Disable Ask a Question Button, then you will no longer see an Ask A Question button in product’s Inquiry TAB but you will see ?Inquiry button on the Vendor Store Banner.
Why is it not both?
Also, in the Admin settings for Inquiry, there is a space to change what the inquiry button label is. When you fill this in, the text only changes the Ask A Question Button on the Product Inquiry Tab but not on the Vendor Store Banner? Is there another place to change that Text?

Yes the percentage plus fixed amount commission will be reduced if the sale amount is high enough to cover both of the commission rules. I understand that. You have proven that the Withdrawal account does indeed reflect percentage + fixed amount BUT that is only if the sale amount is enough to satisfy both commission rules. With all due respect, you can’t tell me to raise the sale amount because you are not aware of how Vendors will sell in this market. Is the Admin not entitled to a fixed fee if a Vendor sells an item for free or below the fixed commission amount? I will give examples again.
*This is how the system works now*
Admin sets percentage plus fixed commission of 10% + $1 For Admin
Vendor has sale of $100
Withdrawal account shows available balance of $89 ( 10% of $100 is $10 + $1 = $11 commission for admin)
CONCLUSION: The fixed rate and percentage was properly reduced from the withdrawal account because the amount of the sale was enough to satisfy both commission rules.*This is where I am speaking about the issue and asking for a remedy*
Admin sets percentage plus fixed commission of 90% +$1 For Admin
Vendor has a sale of $1
Withdrawal account show available balance of (-$.90)
CONCLUSION: Because the sale was not enough to satisfy both commission rules, the percentage commission was reduced from the amount of the sale but the fixed commission amount was not. In this example, the fix is to allow the total amount of commission to be reduced from the withdrawal account disregarding the amount of the sale. The Withdrawal account should show (-$1.90)To reiterate again why we are seeking a remedy, if a Vendor sells items on the market for free, the fixed rate commission For Admin should still be reduced from their Withdrawal account. This is the fixed commission amount acting as a listing fee. This fee should be applied to the withdrawal account even if there is no sale amount.
Thank you
June 3, 2019 at 12:17 pm in reply to: Withdrawal balance do not include percentage plus flat rate #65703vanilladev89ParticipantWhat can i do to get the Withdrawal system to go in to the negative beyond actual value? We thought we could use this system as a fee since it plainly states “Admin Fee”. This would require the fixed amount and the commission percentage to be reduced from the withdrawal account and not just calculated based on sale amount. We thought this would act similar to a listing fee, where no matter the total sale, the vendor would still accrue a fee. For example, if a Vendor sells an item for NO COST, the Vendor would have the Fixed amount reduced from the Withdrawal account even if the starting balance is 0.

I will clarify.
Please remember the idea for this is to have commission for the Admin and prove that if a vendor sells items below the percentage + fixed rate commission, it is not deducted from their withdrawal amount.
Admin sets commission setting as commission for Admin. The commission is set to percentage + fixed rate.
The percentage is 90% and the fixed rate is $1.
A vendor has two $1 sales.
Each sale accrues a $1.90 fee for the admin as per the commission rules.
This means a total of $3.80 is the total admin fees
However in the Withdrawal screen on the Vendor page shows a total balance of -$1.80
We then changed the commission rule to 0% and no fixed amount. Meaning total profit for vendor. We do this to show a positive sale.
Another purchase was made totaling $1.
The Withdrawal screen now shows -$.80
However the correct math is supposed to be -$1.90 + -$1.90 + $1.00 which equals -$2.80
In this example you can see that the Withdrawal account does not account for the fixed fee + percentage fee. - AuthorPosts
