Craig
ParticipantOk so I linked the subscription product to the membership like you demonstrated in the video.
Here is what I notice:
1. When I purchase a membership it does set up the automatic payment profile in Paypal which is great.
2.There is no order showing up on the WooCommerce Order list. Should it not be there?
3. there is no subscription order showing up WooCommerce Subscriptions list. Should it not be there?
4. When I cancel the membership (as the vendor) I do not see any cancellation of the PayPal automatic profile that was created automatically with the purchase. Should that action also automatically cancel since it made it automatically?
5. When a membership is canceled their account is labeled “Disable Vendor”. How do we get them off that title so that they can re-register?Craig
ParticipantAlso I note that when a “disabled” vendor re-registers a membership their account still has the “disabled vendor” account status. I think it should change their account to a vendor correct? because they can not get to their dashboard.
I do not see the system changing that status from “disable vendor” to “store vendor” automatically. Should it not be doing that?

ParticipantOk I’m testing that out.
Question – when the system sets up an “automatic” payment profile with PayPal through a subscription product I see that when a subscription is canceled that is also coordinates with PayPal and cancels that automatic payment profile which is awesome.
Will this do the same through memberships? So when someone cancels their membership the automatic payment profile is also cancelled?
Craig
ParticipantIn addition to this.
There are only two options for when a vendor cancels membership.
-Disable Vendor User
-Assign Basic MembershipHow do we get that account back to “customer” status.
Can there be more options in the cancel rules to make them a “customer”?Attachments:

ParticipantHi there WC Lovers – wondering if you have and feedback on this.
Craig
ParticipantNo I don’t think that will work.
Because the withdrawal charge is only one time charge (I will call that the out going paypal fees which is $0.32 no mater how much amount is withdrawn).
The incoming fees from paypal are 2.9% plus $0.30 for each and every transaction. This fee is ALSO applied to any tax or shipping costs included in the transaction. Here is an example:
Vendor A makes 6 transactions at $10.00 + 5.00 shipping each
Paypal will charge 2.9% plus $0.30 for each and every transaction of $15.00 (10+5)
Paypal fee for each $15 transaction is $0.44 + $0.30 = $0.73 and vendor keeps $14.27
x 6 transactions
PayPal fees = $6.18 (4.38+1.8) Vendor keeps = $85.62THEN vendor makes a withdrawal for the $85.62 PayPal will charge $0.32
So Vendor “should be” be transferred $85.30 (less the $0.32).IF I set the “commission” setting at 2.9% + $0.30 will that be applied to the TAX and SHIPPING included in the transactions? (because that is how PayPal applies their fee).
AND then I can set the withdrawal fee at $.32It if commission is ALSO applied to the taxes and shipping (The total financial transaction) then I think this will work.
Please confirm.
thanks

ParticipantCan you send a screenshot of this
WCFM Admin Dashboard -> Vendors -> Vendor Manager -> Store Setting
I could not follow your settings trail for either the wp-admin page or the marketplace admin page. This is all I see.
Thanks

ParticipantI believe so. Where is that setting found?
I looked under SETTINGS>>STORE etc and did not see anything there

ParticipantHi there,
So far I’m very happy with your commission settings and the ability to recovery of the paypal fees which in Canada are 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction (including any tax and shipping if charged).
So if a vendor has 50 transactions then those fees are x50 which the system is doing a great job of tracking and recovering when I do a payout withdrawal.BUT Is there a way to also recover the “withdrawal fee” which for PayPal in Canada is $0.32 for each withdrawal (We are using “payouts” to send commissions to vendors).
For example :Vendor A wants to withdrawal money every couple of days vs Vendor B that withdrawals every 2 weeks
so in a 2 week period:
Vendor A’s withdrawal costs are 7 times $0.32 = $2.24
Vendor B’s withdrawal costs are 1 times $0.32 = $0.32So far I have all the correct settings (see screenshot attached) so that I can cover all the 2.9% + 0.30 for each transaction for payments coming into our admin account (which is awesome) but can I also recover the $0.32 withdrawal fee we are charged for each payout?
So then I don’t care how many times a vendor wants to withdrawal as the vendor is then responsible for paying the cost of $0.32 per withdrawal.

ParticipantHi there I’m still not clear on a few things:
1. Can the memberships automatically renew and process the payment automatically through paypal/credit card without the “WooCommerce Subscriptions” plugin?
Or is WooCommerce Subscriptions needed for the membership to automatically renew and automatically process the payment?
IF memberships do automatically renew and automatically process paypal/credit card payment then what is the point of having the WooCommerce subscriptions plugin?(I actually do have WooCommerce subscriptions added and activated – and one of your videos shows attaching the membership to a subscription and it works great for activating a membership and automatically renewing the payment).
2. BUT where I run into problems is that when another vendor creates a “subscription product” and a customer who purchased that subscription their account changes to a “store vendor” because of the settings in the WooCommerce subscription (see attached screenshot) are set to change the account to a “store vendor”.
Does that setting need to be like that in order to work with membership?
3. Do you have a knowledge base page that shows how all these settings should be set when we are using using memberships and subscriptions.

ParticipantI’m experiencing some issues with the subscription process.
I see there is a statement at the bottom of WooCommerce payment settings
and this is one of their recommendations found through the “Find new gateways that support automatic subscription payments in the official WooCommerce Marketplace”. Does this need to be installed as well to accept “recurring payments?

ParticipantOk thanks. I was not sure as there was a section at the bottom of that listing to attach it to a vendor.
Thanks for clarifying
Craig
ParticipantThanks for this feedback.
Can you clarify something:
Once we make these subscriptions so we can attach to a membership definition -What vendor do we assign that subscription product to? Do we need to create an Admin Marketplace vendor account and add those subscriptions to that vendor account? Is there an instruction page on this perhaps?
I did not see this level of detail on this page ( https://wclovers.com/knowledgebase/wcfm-membership/ )Thanks
CraigCraig
ParticipantThis will be a great feature. Especially for the shop header and logo so the vendor can easily crop the image to fit properly.
Would this plugin work? https://wordpress.org/plugins/aviary-editor/
This particular plugin does not look like it has been updated in some time.Craig
ParticipantI’m interested in this subscription integration and I have two questions.
1. If we have the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin does this allow the “recurring” subscription $ to process automatically when the next payment is due?
For example if the subscription product is purchased for $20 / month Does the next month purchase happen automatically (on day 31) or does the customer need to take some action to approve the next months payment?
2. If we use this WooCommerce subscriptions plugin to also process the membership payments to our site does that recurring payment also happen automatically?
This is what I had to do I’m my previous marketplace website that I had this set up (WooCommerce Subscriptions) using WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro. Successful subscription would change the account to “vendor” and then the monthly or yearly payment would be automatic BUT I have to specifically register with PayPal to allow automatic recurring payments.
I also needed to install a plugin “WooCommerce Conditional Shipping and Payments” to change the “add to cart” button to a “subscription” button so the customer is directed to a paypal gateway to set up the automatic payment confirmation. Thanks for your assistance.

ParticipantHi can you clarify in your answer above if we already have WooCommerce Bookings installed:
1. Regarding the appointments product I see that the woocommerce booking plugin highlights “appointments” as well. Would having the bookings plugin then offer the appointments option through the WCFM Ultimate or do we specifically need to install the BizzTheme version ( https://bizzthemes.com/plugins/woocommerce-appointments/ )
https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/
excerpt from woocommerce plugin sales page
“This powerful extension allows you to sell time or date-based bookings, adding a new product type to your WooCommerce site. Perfect for those wanting to offer appointments, services or rentals.”2. ALSO Will the WCFM Ultimate require the woocommerce accommodation bookings (free ad-on) to allow the accommodation and rental product?

….instead of using the WC Rental – https://codecanyon.net/item/rnb-woocommerce-rental-booking-system/14835145 - AuthorPosts
