I’m looking for a solution to add this information to the processing order email as well. So that the customer can contact the vendor directly….rather than “replying to the email”.

pebi44 how do you do that limiting of one vendor per order?

This looks interesting! I’m also looking for something like this that we can redirect our e-flyer to. So vendors can purchase a spot on that “page” and then our e-flyer directs customer to that “page”.

Do you know if the this kind of plug-in has a whole page (landing page) dedicated to the ad blocks in addition to the ad block placement on the shop page, product page, and under the category list?

Sounds like the WC Lovers developers need to provide some feedback on this?

Hi Sushobhan – thanks for getting back to me.

I have already made some additional fields and made them mandatory. BUT I made these after some vendors already registered so those that registered would never have need to “acknowledge them”.
BUT when those particular vendors go to try to change their passwords they get an error saying that they need to check those boxes…..but they are not visible at the password changing screen.

This also happens for Staff of those particular vendors they get the same error.

If you look at the bottom of the screen on my first screenshot above you will see the warning about needing to acknowledge those check-boxes but you can’t see them (and you should not need to) when you are just trying to update the password.

I’m a customer not a developer of the plugins but have a question:

What is the downside of the “inquiry” being used for feedback?
I think it is important for the vendor to be able to communicate back to the customer with their feedback/inquiery.

And the “reviews” provide a public facing (and very valuable) for consumer confidence. My fear is that if you have a 3 option to send feedback to the vendor that some of those reviews wound be able to be used as visible reviews for other customers to see.

    can you provide examples?
Because right now I think you can do that

-you define a group based on the capabilities.

-then you add that group to a membership type

    – then you can define what ever price you want for that membership.

I have 3 levels of membership and they had different capabilities/features turned off with the most expensive membership being unlimited capability.

is this the location that we can change that address? is there some kind of code to put here so that the vendors email is the reply to address?

I am a customer of WC Lovers not one of their developers.

they will have to weigh in.

you could also submit for a customization quote with them too. have you considered that?

I see. this would also require you to have the google maps API activated.

I would want this as a “option” that I could turn on or off because in Canada the google maps seems to work very well. I can understand where your operations are located might be much different.

    Thanks for explaining further.

I think this would be a good feature too but I’m struggling how this could be implemented to allow so many different options with some many different vendors.

Would the vendor have OPTION to “offer delivery time slots” and then the vendor is able to build that time slot table? Because depending on the vendor they may not be able to offer that level of delivery detail/times so this would need to be optional.

    For example
A farmer would offer deliver based on “Day” (Pick “Monday” or “Friday”)
A bakery might want to offer “morning” or “afternoon”
and a retail store might not want to offer any time slot because they have no control over when it gets delivered.

Is this location pick option for the customer or the delivery boy to use?
Why does the address not work?

When a delivery boy goes to their dashboard they can click on the address of the delivery and it opens google maps.

Sushobhan I have implemented the above code and it works great to remove the word “boy” and “boys”. Thanks for providing that.

I still think you should consider removing the terms “boy” and “boys” with “service” or something like that for all marketplaces as the term “boys” is not very professional.

Any chance that this terminology will be updated in the core plugin. Using a generic term such as “delivery” , “Delivery Team”, Delivery service” etc would be better than the “boys” term. And I’m thinking would be better for any marketplace.

All the delivery girls are getting really mad about this.

    Hi Sushobhan,

I’m just check in on this shipping fix.
With the social distancing here in Canada eCommerce has become a reality for many businesses but we are not able to offer them a shipping solution.

    Any update on this?

    Many thanks

    Sort of.

Right now the message reads “Store is now closed” which sounds like the store is closed forever and the customer may never come back to check again.

Option 1 – update the current text
I would like wording of this message to sound more like “Store is currently closed at this time – Please check back during opening hours” I would think this would be beneficial for all marketplaces not just mine and request this be an edit to the plugin it’s self.

    Option 2
Better yet would be a link to the store’s hours (as they are already detailed in their shop settings). This is best because then the customer does not need to guess when they are open again. I would think this would be beneficial for all marketplaces not just mine and request this be an edit to the plugin it’s self.

    does that help?

I have reported this through the premium support. What is happening is that the buttons only activate when the mouse cursor is at the very tip top of the button.

I have been told this will be fixed in the next release.

What if you have products from 5 different vendors in cart. Do you need to show all those polices?

Are you sure the policy required at cart by the country is needed for “each vendor” or just the “marketplace policy”?

    Craig
    Participant

That would be great to she something like “Opens at: Thursday 8:00AM”
    or
a “click here for store hours” and that then has a pop-up that shows the store hours

and to also include this feature on the banner that shows up on the shop page (see attached)

    thanks for this consideration

not that I am aware of. At this point you need to monitor cancellations and manually remove from your paypal account.

or send instructions to the vendor on how they can do that in their paypal account.

I am not sure what happens if the membership subscription is done though a credit card.
