When I disable “WCFM – WooCommerce Frontend Manager – Groups & Staffs” and visit /vendor-groups/ I get a 404 (as expected).
When I enable it, /vendor-groups/ redirects to homepage.
May 19, 2020 at 10:50 pm in reply to: What is cause of 404 error in manager? re Dashboard Pages 'Refresh Permalink' #133220CAMParticipantThese 404s are still happening at irregular intervals.
What is the reason you created the ‘Refresh Permalink’ checkbox?
Maybe that will help troubleshoot.

Clear all shorts of cache, server cache, CDN cache. Once done, visit your Permalinks page (Settings >>Permalinks).
– Done & Done
2. Deactivate and activate WCFM plugins.
– Done & Done – no change. Also cleared cache etc again.
3. Enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/debug.log to see if anything gets logged there.
Done– not sure exactly what looking for (will attach log in next private reply)
4. Check your server log for any possible errors.
– DoneI can’t see anything that jumps out. What should I be looking for? Is there anything I should ask host? (www.liquidhost.com – Woocommerce specialists)This problem seems specific to /vendor-groups/ and I think it has existed since install (ie. I have never been able to visit these URLs).
May 19, 2020 at 6:20 pm in reply to: “Group auto-assignment on Registration” – cannot see option auto-assign Vendor #133123CAMParticipantI also have WCFM Membership setup and the ‘memberships’ are linked to Groups…..however there is also nowhere in Memberships to make one the default membership on registration.
For registration we use: [wcfm_vendor_registration] and when Vendor registers, we want this to default to a set of capabilities via Group / Membership (Vendor does not select a membership ‘level’).
How do we do this?

They all appear to be latest version (no notification to update).
These 404s do not always occur, so it is difficult to troubleshoot. If there are any other known reasons (other than possible plugin conflict), please let me know.
Re. Conflict Checker:
I have tested a separate, but possibly related issue here https://wclovers.com/forums/topic/view-groups-vendor-groups-redirects-to-homepage/ (this issue happens 100% of time – so ‘easier’ to troubleshoot) however there is still an issue – even with all other plugins off and Twenty Nineteen…not sure if there is any relationship to this issue.CAMParticipantI can confirm I have tried the Health Check Troubleshoot app and the problem still exists with following theme and plugins active:
* Twenty Twenty
* WCFM – WooCommerce Frontend Manager – Groups & Staffs
* WCFM – WooCommerce Frontend Manager – Ultimate
* WCFM – WooCommerce Frontend Manager
* WCFM – WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace
* WCFM – WooCommerce Multivendor Membership
* WooCommerceSee screenshot attached.

You must be logged in to view attached files.CAMParticipantThis is a big problem for me because there is no way for me to see what Vendors are in what Groups…
I have also tried viewing Settings > Store Vendors: however when I open a Vendor, it does not tell me if they are in a Group.
CAMParticipantAnother vote for changing ‘boys’ — whatever term is used should be gender-neutral.
CAMParticipantWhen you use Stripe Split Pay, it will not use any of your withdrawal settings.
– so do we turn Withdrawal module OFF? (if only method is Stripe split pay)
May 19, 2020 at 1:25 pm in reply to: Open Street Map does not show vendor's pointer locations. #132981CAMParticipantFor Open Street Map, it’s definitely ugly and useless right now, better to use Google Maps :/
– thanks; your information has saved me time trying Open Street Map:)
I’m only 2 days into WCFM… I like what I see and forum support/replies have been OK so far (above average & generally faster than Dokan). As a new user, I think the best thing they can do is invest time in documentation; more of it AND better organised. Dokan does not have as many features/integrations as WCFM, but it is very quick and easy to setup…and almost everything is found in documentation.
If WCFM documentation was done correctly it would save a lot of support time on forum…and a lot of time for user. Especially because there are multiple plugins/modules involved in getting best functionality out of WCFM. This has been my biggest frustration so far; incomplete docs.
For elements/modules that are not great – eg Open Street Map, include this in the Documentation but acknowledge that it is not perfect or finished yet. Ideally features would never make production until they are up to ‘production standard’ — but for now; a note in documentation would be preferable than a new user spending hours trying to make it work…and then posting support requests that take up more time for support & user.
CAMParticipantPerfect – this is what I need.
Thanks 🙂
However (on a different note)…the term “Delivery Boy” really needs changed to be gender-neutral (eg ‘Delivery Person’). Personally, I will need to change this when I setup WCFM Delivery.
CAMParticipantI understand this.
From a UX view, I still think having Verification field in middle of form is confusing for user. In future release please consider suggestion of paginating the registration form into 2 steps:
* Step 1: Email + Verification code.
* Step 2: Other form data.This would be much clearer for the user 🙂
Thanks
May 19, 2020 at 12:57 pm in reply to: How to allow Vendor to register & setup store, but Admin must approve 'go live'? #132974CAMParticipantFor this to work, enable ‘Required Approval’ from WCFM admin dashboard >> Settings >> Vendor Registration.
But if I set this, then the Vendor does not get to continue with store setup; They must complete a form, and then wait until Admin approves them before they can continue to setup store etc.
For anybody reading, currently the best method I have found so far is;
* Disable ‘Required Approval’.
* Use a very short registration from (because is a bit confusing with verification code in middle of form).
* * Now user can register quickly & be immediately directed to Vendor setup Wizard.
* Configure Groups Vendor capabilities to prevent automatic publishing for new Vendors (ie. ‘Pending Vendors’).
* Create another similar Group for ‘Approved’ vendors with publishing ability.I think this flow works for me (however I still think in future release WCFM should consider moving that Verification code…OR paginating the form into 2 steps: (1) Email + Verification…then next step (2) input other form data.
Thanks
May 19, 2020 at 12:39 pm in reply to: Mobile view on Vendor store page: change number of products per column #132955CAMParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.CAMParticipantI am looking for the same.
Can you share here the solution how to accomplish this?
Also, I would like the permalink to be same structure (contain the store name)
May 18, 2020 at 10:03 pm in reply to: Where to find list of WCFM hooks, filters, template override info etc? #132737CAMParticipantGreat – thanks.
You really need better documentation. Far too many things are missing. Very frustrating for new user.
Also there would me many less support posts/requests if documentation was improved.
May 18, 2020 at 6:08 pm in reply to: Vendor store header – make it a different size (smaller) when browsing products? #132619CAMParticipantThanks – I must have imagined it (or maybe confused it with the mobile header).
CAMParticipantIs this working now?
Cannot see any recaptcha information in documentation.
CAMParticipantThis is bad experience for the user. It is not normal flow & is confusing.
The user should register (simple registration form), then after verify their email, continue with completing the form.
Having this ‘verification code’ in the middle of a form is very confusing for the user.
