@mick2 – I have not yet implemented the code snippet that @Sushobhan has provided above to know if it works for me or not. BUT I agree this code/functionality should part of the base code as it seems to be the foundation to proper eCommerce to have shipping zones that work.

    Vendors get their own emails.

Did you do some testing (set up a fake vendor account and do some tests)

Are your customer emails (and all other emails) being sent out? If not then you may have an email system issue.

You should install these three (free) plugins which are great for trouble shooting
    https://www.wcvendors.com/2020/01/3-plugins-for-easy-debugging/

    in particular:
WP Mail Logging by Mail Poet
Email sending issues is a common problem with WordPress sites. Once you add a few more plugins that require emails then it can get quite difficult to work out what is happening with your outgoing mail. WP Mail Logging is a plugin that logs all outgoing emails so that you can see if the email has been triggered. This does not mean that the email has actually sent. All it means is that WordPress and the plugin you’re debugging has triggered the email.

We often have users contact us and tell us that their email isn’t sending and most of the time its not actually a problem with our products but a problem with either a mail conflict or mail configuration in general.

WP Mail Logging makes it very easy to see which emails are sending.

@neelay.p there is a forum dedicated to this https://wclovers.com/forums/forum/wcfm-delivery/

it would be good to read through that forum. Post any issues you have there if they are not already posted.

You can also reach the developers through their support ticket system https://wclovers.com/premium-support/

It is also important that you read through the delivery documentation found on this page https://wclovers.com/knowledgebase/

Can I ask why you made a discussion thread about this?

I agree that there is lag in the dashboard.

When certain dashboard pages (such as the product editor) loads there is a short moment where certain default fields are displayed and then they are hidden to display what the page is supposed to look like.

I am not sure what the cause and solution is but wanted to add to this thread that we notice it as well.

No I think you just need to look for a developer experienced in “marketplaces” in general. That is the bigger picture requirement in my mind and is the primary difference you are looking for in a website developer.

You also need to keep in mind that “developing” the site is almost the easy part. It is the maintenance and updating that you need to also focus on because that activity is needed almost monthly.

    In my experience.

Yes I understand. That link provided was not a website he owns so can’t change it. It was just a suggestion of possible locations to find developers.

I was providing some feedback to your fiverr question. It sounds like you are going to need to hire a developer which is what everyone has to do (unless they have the skills to do it themselves).

What is your experience with developing WordPress websites? Have you any developer experience?

I have used developers from Fiverr.

It can be very successful but you have to be very clear in your task description when you proposal work.

Also here is a list of compatible themes that have been test with the WC lovers plugins.

    https://wclovers.com/wcfm-compatible-themes/

Maybe try one of those themes instead of https://avada.theme-fusion.com/restaurant/?

I can see your reply here so you must be logged in?

Have you checked with your these developer if it supports a multi-vendor marketplace?

My suspicion is that you will need to hire a developer to do some custom work.

A good theme to test your site to see if the plugins are working correctly is “storefront”. Install that theme and you can switch back and fourth to see if you issues are actually something to do with the theme.

I had to hire a developer to make my site work like I wanted it to. Just installing the plugins is usually not going to give you what you want and the plugin developers don’t so that for you.

Does the order involve more than one vendor?

On my site each vendor can assign their whole order to one delivery person. I did not do any special coding for this I though it was standard part of the plugin but it sounds like you have to assign each item to a delivery person?

(I’m not a developer of the plugin but a marketplace owner and trying to help)

    This is an interesting concept.
Can you explain why you would want a separate email for each vendor involved in the cart transaction?

In the invoice sent to the customer the vendor is listed for each item.

I’m curious as a marketplace owner (I’m not a developer of the plugins here)

    Here is a good article

“Are you looking for the best SMTP service providers?

An SMTP service provider helps you reliably send emails from your website to your users.

SMTP servers are especially configured to ensure that your emails reach users’ inbox and don’t end up in the junk mail folder.

In this article, we will share the best SMTP service providers with high email deliverability. We will also show you how to send your WordPress emails using these SMTP services.”

@gayatrib0707 the email logger will just tell you if the emails are being triggered. This is a good way to verify your site is sending the emails.

BUT I don’t think you can send emails from your localhost unless you have an email sending plugin like sendgrid that connects you to your SMTP service provider. This SMTP would probably be part of your hosting package. Do you have a website Host selected?

    https://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/best-smtp-service-providers-with-high-email-deliverability/

I’m not an expert at setting up websites but have been managing mine for 6 years. My mail is sent through sendgrid (But I have never tried sending emails form a localcopy as my hosting package provide me with a Developmental server so I can do all my testing work there and then when I’m happy I push it to the live server).

@hani that is correct. Vendors only see and manage their orders. Email are also only per vendor and they don’t see other vendors order even if they are in the same transaction.

    I like #4 idea

I’m not familiar with a facebook fan page so I can’t speak to that.

the chat apps would be high priority if there were no other communication tools but we already have the inquiry module.

    I’m still experiencing this problem.

I have tried a few things such as clearing cache and adding a new vendor account but that did not change anything. Vendors can still see all tickets that have been sold by all vendors.

I have updated to the 6.5.0 version by the issue is still present so I’m not sure it has been fixed.

    Hi Sushobhan,

Thanks for the update. Please keep the pressure on as this shipping issue has really inhibited my vendors from selling to customers outside the first zone.

Are you able to get a new ETA?

    Many many many thanks

@Miguel Angel Calle I see that now. It looks like this was an enhancement to the plugin in the last day or two. I just updated the plugin this morning and the revision notes mention this enhancement.
Do you have the most current WCMF plugin versions?
